  1. From Macrumors. I hope it helps: Update 3: It appears that option-clicking on an iOS 8 file in iTunes will allow users to fix the issue without a restore. iMore has outlined the process: 1. Download iOS 8 for iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus 2. Option (Mac) or Control (Windows) click on Update. 3. Choose the iOS 8 firmware file you downloaded in step 1. 4. Let iTunes do its thing

  2. best solution is to ignore it. They're just phones. Buy the one that does what you want, at the price you can justify.

  3. Oh boofuckinghoo, Jacob. I have no idea why your so damn combative in this thread, it does not reflect well either. I've had many phones, including an iphone and none of them ever bent despite being put through far worse than sitting on them. Is that luck? Perhaps. But is it really such a stretch to think that some manufacturer (and it doesn't matter who) pushed the envelope of thin/light too far? I'm not saying it has happened and I'll be surprised if it did, honestly, but the vehemence with which you respond to pretty light-hearted posts is fucked up. Crappy, your post was fine, fret not. Your cheerios lacked the requisite piss this morning, clearly. Al, isn't this just an opportunity for Sammy to sue Apple for infringement on their flexible phone concept? See the good in the bad, my lawyerly friend.

  5. Coltrane's Temple University concert is the stuff of legend and terrible sounding bootlegs have been out there for a while. According to this article, we should finally have it available in shiny new vinyl. http://articles.philly.com/2014-09-23/entertainment/54244368_1_alice-coltrane-ravi-coltrane-coltrane-house

  7. That's cute. I too have found that it is always good to mock someone after asking for help. Although I have not actually heard these headphones, here is what I would assume they sound like, using only the ten-hundred most commonly used words in the English language. These head music boxes are not like other head music boxes. They have 2 song parts for each ear instead of 1 song part for each ear like most other large head music boxes. This was done because 2 is more than 1, without thinking about if you really need 2 song parts. The truth is that you don't. Pretty much all of the other guys build their head music boxes with one song-part for each ear - even the ones everyone says are best. The use of 2 song-parts for each ear may cause some interesting problems. Since one of the song-parts is more far than the other the sound from each may arrive in the ear at different time. This fuck up in the time of each song part causes a not good sound.

  11. and what is the voltage level. If its way high, then you definitely want to cut the gain of the headphone amp. some cut the balanced gain to 6.

  12. Yeah, I'm switching back to "Integrated Only" once I'm done re-calibrating my MBP screen to have it match as close to my external. I guess I won't be using Photoshop much - at least Lightroom should run well enough.

  13. Why is this an issue? I would think that a phone that bends and still works would be a feature.

  14. My only advice is when I looked four years ago (when still living in SF) I found a huge difference in pressure and deals as I expanded the search radius. Ended up near San Jose for better deals and greatly preferred several Capitol Expressway experiences over same at Stevens Creek (even if ownership is shared), etc.
