8 pointsA belated post... We picked Winnie up Saturday. She's settling in well... She's going to be a great addition to the family. The North Face coat my mom made for Neko just needs a minor adjustment as she's a little smaller than Neko was.8 points

Today I finally gave up on a recent, desultory attempt to join the beardy boys club -- conceding that patchy and grey wasn't a winning combo for me. Went out in style, at least, with a full hot towel and straight razor performance at the original Trumpers in Curzon St. And if there's anything better that doesn't involve either wine or private parts, it hasn't happened to me yet.6 points

3 pointsBaked a few pizza and rolls with the leftover dough on the back of the 17" cast iron skillet. Worked really well, make some very good crust. I just have to work on the dough recipe since since mine over-inflated to an astounding degree. More bread than pizza ultimately.3 points

2 pointsYup. It worked for awhile then went fuzzy. They replaced it at the Apple Store in 30 minutes or so following diagnosis. Fine since then.2 points

1 pointA friend who I mistakenly turned onto bourbon has found a supplier of the 2015 release at $115 a bottle with possible free shipping to him/me. Any interest in a bottle, keeping in mind they are the UK 700ml bottles vs the US 750ml?1 point

1 pointBought this Waterman Expert from Jacob. Really nice! Thanks, Jacob! Also picked up the Parker 51, which I've not inked yet.1 point

I completely shaved yesterday for the first time in more than 6 months. Felt great. My Merkur Sledgehammer was adept as ever... two passes and I was good to go.1 point

1 pointI signed out of all devices and browsers for the apple id then deleted several thousand empty playlists (which itunes made when I imported my library) tedious as hell, but seems to be running quite a bit better. i have been getting sporadic browser hanging with Chrome ever since the OS upgrade and have finally just decided to use another browser. word to the wise, never create multiple keychains.1 point

1 pointHi guys: My rise to Pico de las Nieves, the hardest mountain pass in Europe. Puerto. I'm very pleased with myself. 2h15" total time. Kms 5 to 7 is the most hard, very, very hard, a slope of 19% without any pause . I've never climbed anything so hard. It´s awful. Edit: I used a 12/30 ultegra and a 34/50 compat.1 point

1 pointReally fun little amp. I'm looking forward to getting to A/B it with an original Crack/Speedball. It is amazing how different it sounds from the SuSy Dynalo. If I had to pick one, it'd be the Dynalo, but I don't and won't. It is a fantastic change of pace amp and makes super relaxing pairing with the HD650s.1 point

1 pointMy new bike saved me from several hospital trips this year so it's definitely a success. Smashes out downhill runs better than anything short of a dedicated downhill bike, and it's still light enough that goofing around on my local trails is still fun.1 point

1 pointI'm loving the second season of Fargo (loved the first season too). The characters are fantastic. 90% are so friggin clueless that it can drive you a little nuts but that's just part of the fun. I wondered why the episodes were an hour 20 min but I think that maybe the show is a full 60 minutes (plus 20 min of non-show)? If you love the Coen Brothers, you'll probably agree with me.1 point
