A few days ago died Maria Dolores Pradera, a Spanish singer and actress at 93. She had the kind of elegance and wit that reminded me of Lauren Bacall. She had a wonderful voice. She used to tour and record with "los Gemelos", a guitarist twin brothers duo suiting perfectly her music style. She was a big part of the soundtrack in my childhood (early childhood I'd say) since in the sixties she was at her prime of popularity, although she kept singing, acting and recording until a few years ago. In this video there's an additional guitarist to our left. A long wonderfully lived life.

Galaxie 500 -- On Fire

Just watched the series finale and it's about as good as it gets! Anything I could say is a spoiler so I will just say that the final season was absolutely awesome! I'd say that the ending is right up there with the way that "Boardwalk Empire" and "6 Feet Under" wrapped things up. So, if you lost interest somewhere along the way, give it another chance (I thought that there were some weak spots along the way). And careful, after a glance around the web, the critics are falling all over themselves handing out Emmy's and spoilers. Congrats to Dreamworks!

Sorry about the radio silence. You guys are right, it's not cool when I'm holding other people's money. I'll just say this. I got a lot of stuff going on and I would have honestly preferred joining a group buy rather then starting one. No one else was doing it, so I did. Yeah, modifying drawings does take time. But not this much time. The current design works. Everything fits and the front and rear panels are accurate. It does get a bit hot, however with the cover off it runs fine. So I'm going to maximize the vents on top and bottom like in the following PDF dynalo_top_plate_15.pdf I'll order this by Monday when they open back up. IF I haven't completed this order by Wednesday, I will refund everyone's money and I'll absorb the cost of the prototype. I'll even have the prototype for sale. The drawings will remain for anybody that wants to go through Enclosures and Cases Inc themselves. They should also work at fine at Context Engineering. @Pars - You will also get your panels with countersunk holes. Just let me know which holes you want countersunk. This goes for anyone else as well.

This is getting to be somewhat ridiculous regarding time line as there was a known good design in johnwmclean's, known vendors (though certainly not as cheap), etc. Please provide an update, and thanks. I know running group buys is a pain in the fucking ass, but it is what it is.

They don't mention any difference and knowing Stax, they would if there was any. They talked enough about the feet on the T8000...

RIP David Wilson of Wilson Audio. By all accounts a great guy, whatever you may think of his speakers and their cost. And...fuck cancer.....only 74......
