This year marks a return to form (hopefully) and therefore I'm prepping to ride the full century in support of the Kelly Brush Foundation. The effects of the tick bite appear to have waned since around Christmas so I've been training hard, mixing in quite a bit of mountain bike riding as well as other non-bike-related exercise and actually doing a little weight training. It appears to be paying off. For those that don't know, the Kelly Brush Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting individuals with spinal cord injuries in finding ways to get out and enjoy an active lifestyle. For me, this is a cause close to my heart. I love the outdoors and the freedom to explore it in a variety of ways and have worked with organizations like the KBF for the last twenty years to help others do the same. The mission remains the same, regardless of distance, so I'm trying to raise a bunch of money again this. As usual, all of the donations are tax deductible and like last year I'm looking for interesting ways to sweeten the pot if you open your wallet a little bit. To start, I'll do the same thing that I did last year. Any donation in excess of $50 ears itself a shipment of at least two choice New England beers. Top $100 and it'll at least be a mixed 4pk. I've already been working on my stash of Maine-based beer to start things off and will undoubtedly be doing some shopping when in VT on the way to the ride. Here's the link to donate - https://kbf.akaraisin.com/ui/16790/participant/3444604?Lang=en-US - any donation is greatly appreciated, large or small. Thanks, Nate1 point

Hey @Aura, pipe dream at this point, but if I come to Chicago on October 6 (it's a Saturday), do you want to check out Ne Obliviscaris and Wintersun with me?1 point

That one was built for another member. I will have one for sale in the somewhat near future however. Looks just like it PM me for details.1 point

The plan should be to get Jeff drunk enough to let you have the Scoutmaster now and pay for it once your kids get out of college.1 point

Aren't you, like, saying you wanna lose weight? I'm gonna assume a radicchio wedge or 2 and nothing else. (;1 point

My name on the schematic and layout files are KG Tube input + GG output.*. Based on Kevin’s KGSSHV-TUBE-SANDWICH board. Different CCS, offset/balance servos and most parts are surface mounted. I did pollute the stax t8000 clone (well sorta) thread with posts during built last summer - an extremely rainy summer.1 point

Still nothing yet from sellmark. I did call and leave a voicemail. I'll let everyone know as soon as I hear from them.1 point

Prices updated for all international people that ordered a single case. I'm using standard 1st class shipping which is $23.50. If you would like International Priority it's $35. BTW, I declared the price as $20 for everyone. If a package gets lost then let me know. I have a few extra enclosures and I can replace a few, but not all.1 point

The L3 is a single feed (not single ended) differential tube amp. The T4 is a parafeed differential hybrid amp. The T5 will be, if it every gets done, a more powerful version of the T4 that also does away with the parafeed cap. The T4 was designed to be less expensive by reducing the power and by eliminating a bunch of assembly labor. But within its output limits I think it is 98% of the quality of the other amps. There are of course a few things you can do with a higher budget, but they are mostly gild on a lily.1 point
