  1. I attended the first interview which for deciding if you are serious about business plan and check if you are qualified enough to take the course. It went pretty good, was quicker and shallow than I expected tho. Result will be announced in two following days. Wish me luck...
  2. Had a front row seat to Elon's SpaceX rocket launch from Vandenberg AFB. Wasn't really expecting it since I was unloading the car after our fencing tournament and happened to look up at the sky towards the north. The pictures posted on line do not do it justice. Very surreal. *edit* My first thoughts when I saw the miles long flame coming from what was an obviously a rocket, hmmm is that incoming or outgoing?
  3. Yes. Run a bead of silicone caulk around the ear pads and seal it to your head.
  4. Went to the first night of the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival with Al, Claire and a few others. Saw Lindsay Buckingham and Alison Krauss. Fantastic!
  5. 31 passes in the buildup here. Really remarkable the change of style in such a short time, but I'm not exactly going to complain! https://streamable.com/c1n8i
  6. Of course, good luck! Hope it works out well for you!
  7. It has to be awesome. I can´t imagine how it must be the roar of the propellers.
  8. ...could also use velcro......................
  9. Added some fans to the outdoor rig https://imgur.com/a/xNXRTZB
  10. Preliminary results. I don't know anything about carpentry so please don't be too cruel to me.
  11. Yep, I used to like riding my all steel mountain bike in the mountains near here when it rained. Having children smartened me up real quick.
  12. I used to have this thing for going for a run when there was a thunderstorm - I liked the drenching downpour (yeah OK - weird). I stopped then there was a simultaneous blinding flash and a BANG, and a smell of ozone. It must have struck very very close to me. I got home in a hurry. That was the end of my going running in thunder storms ⚡ ? ?
  13. For clarity, this was a gift not an announcement.
  14. Almost everyone is packed. Three or four more to go. Should finish them tomorrow. I’ll weigh them as well and should start requesting addresses in a few days Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Liquor Store Parking Lot vs Laser Eye Surgery Parking Lot.
  16. At least you could hear them. I heard them at a show hall a couple of years ago, and they didn't have enough gain to let me hear much over the gentle background hubub- a little bit of mid, and that was it. I'm afraid that the salesman* demoing them are a little hurt by my refusal to effusively praise them, because I couldn't hear a bloody thing (and I am not someone who needs or even enjoys high volumes). I was probably also too obviously horrified with the mandatory DAC/DSP as well. I just ended up wondering why anyone would want such a thing, thanking him, and beating a hasty retreat. *..and he was a salesman, I asked a couple of mildly technical questions, and he blanched visibly.
