Got sick of cords all over the place. DIY'ed a charging drawer using a cheap conference room table fixture from Amazon. Much cheaper than the commercial products that run around the $300 mark.

Built a test rig for the Active Battery modules. I'll give it a try tomorrow. It will allow me to test the DC & AC for the batteries.

Finally got my issues sorted with the help of a friend.

Just finished testing a new version of the battery with the LT1021-7 reference. From what I can measure, it seems quieter on the scope (mostly above 25KHz) than the LED version. It's nice to be able to test without risking the whole amp I'll probably start using the LT1021-7 in the GRHV supply as well since it needs less current to operate. I'm currently feeding it about .94mA with the base of the transistor it connects to pulling about 70uA from that as well.

This is a good friend of mine tonight. The numbers are bit different. It's a brand new Subaru Outback (which is like $30 large IIRC), and over 400 miles (SF to some place outside of LA). The price of the "pedals" is more or less spot on but most of them are Euro Rack modules. He is making noise at an experimental music festival. I presume he won't be asked to leave. No, he's not recording it. I already asked him. The bum.

I finally finished populating my amp board. Went a bit nuts on component matching, resistors to less than .1% and transistors to less than 3%. I wired up the boards and ran some square, sine, and triangle waves through it. Every thing appeared perfect on the scope. Bias was easy to dial in. It was time for some listening. I spent about equal time listening with my HD 600's and DT880's (600 ohm) and I have to say they both sounded great. Everything from Gerswin to Joplin to Kodo...this amp does every thing right! Next step is casing. Me
