+1 to the good luck wishes! Try to imagine a scenario where they may be in need of a solution, and propose options.....with the way kids are roaming the interwebz, I'm sure network security and malware are a big to-do.....

Had a graduation party yesterday for Andrew, a good chunk of the family came. Karen and I had most of it catered, and the result was quite stress-free for us, allowing us to enjoy family. Also found out that my dad - 82 years old - just fully retired this past week from his dentistry practice! My dad and oldest brother Scott, and Andrew & me:

RIP.....looked him up on IMDB, never realized how much TV work he'd done......

Other things, maybe even ask your dad. How old is the community, and how bad are the monthly condo fees? This can play into maintenance costs, one-time assessments for large projects if they are about to come due, etc. Also, the board/group that governs (forgot the dang name), are there politics going on that suck? I've seen some unhappy people in a condo complex where I lived, because they couldn't stand someone on the committee. It influenced a couple decisions, though ti couldn't really be proven.

I think not having Ryan Johansen finally caught up with the Preds. Awesome they made it that far, though.....

RIP Adam West.....and yeah, he got even better with age. I think he both took himself too seriously AND was self-deprecating all at once.

You didn't.....but a good wish is worth wishing twice!

Visited my sick friend Christine today, got to give her a nice chunk of change from a GoFundMe drive our friend Rick set up; she needs it for some potentially last-hope meds but she will still need more. Recounted some stories going all the way back to kindergarten for some folks we knew in common, and she filled me in more on her life after school. It was great to see her smile even though in pain, and she still has an amazing wit. I cried on the way home....

Almost missed it here, and it's after midnight there. But hope you had a great day, pet a few cakes and ate a few cats.....or something like that!

I think Closer is even more depressing. Especially Decades......even the keyboard "solo" is depressing...... "We knocked on the door of Hell's darker chamber. Pushed to the limits, we dragged ourselves in...."

Oh, man, this. So this. I grew up with 2 older brothers, a lot of my early musical taste picked up from them. Allman Bros. a big fixture in the home.....RIP

RIP Roger. I agree with Craig, the dry humor he was able to show was great in combination with the typical Bond class and style.

What a great weekend! Friday night, I got to see heather Nova for the first time, have loved her music since ~'93 or '94. Missed a bunch of opportunites to see her due to other commitments. The one time I WAS able to see her the outdoor show got cancelled for storm forecasts.....and the weather was pretty damn nice! So Friday night, she does this intimate small show with her brother, who is a singer channeling Reggae through Folk music, named Mishka. A wonderful performance, got to speak with Heather & Mishka a bit after the show. They did some great music, including the last song in their encore being a version of Bowie's Starman. Then Saturday night, another small show with Mary Fahl, ex of October Project and possessing one of the most incredible and unique voices I've ever heard. Until I saw her last October, it had been ~22 years since I had last seen her (with October Project, in '94). Mary's husband Richard was there, he travels with her a lot and is one of the most interesting and warmest people I've ever met. Before the show started, he came by after recognizing me and we also had a nice chat. Mary was joined this time by a Cellist, which I thought was perfect accompaniment to her soulful voice. And while I couldn't take photo's or video during the show, Mary loves to meet and greet afterwards - and I got a warm greeting Two of my favorites artists in one weekend.....!

Was listening to the radio on the way back from an errand, there are some rumors around Chris' death ("band around neck" was a term I heard). But yes, way to fucking young, and a great talent lost. And in other news, R (not RIP) to Roger Ailes. A man who did big things, but to me his legacy is completely tarnished by the behavior and scandals he allowed and possibly participated in..... I don't often say good riddance for someone who died, but for him I'm damn close. Sorry if this offends (no I'm not....but it's just my personal opinion)

It's actually to put YOU in a line-up! "Swear to God, I was just trying to unlock the door, held my cane up to free my hand to get my keys, but it scratched the lock and door; and this large white dude dressed only in boxers and a wife-beater shirt comes runnin' at me shakin' a pair of headphones and a fountain pen at me....I ran as fast as I could...." Seriously, though, honorable thing to do NOT to screw someone if you're not sure.

I also remember him playing Jim Jones. Chillingly good.....RIP......

Jacob, i think you need some boredom in your life. Between ER visit and stopping attempted break-ins, you're leading quite the lifestyle..... Just stay safe and "OK" in general.....

Major ouch. Hope you feel better Dan. Try to find some position that is the least uncomfortable and arrange pillows and furniture....
