That's the thing about the Yamahas I've found as well, when you get them properly damped they're a mother to drive. With a great amp though, it's a sweet combination. I still think the YH-100 driver is one of the best orthos out there.

I use my Grande Six on my desk as well. They're excellent nearfield speakers.

My Beta22 drove my Omega Grande Six speakers with ease. I use an integrated to drive them now, but only because it was a pain unhooking the speakers to drive headphones.

Well the deposition went great. It only took about 30 minutes. Once they realised I hadn't seen anything, and wasn't going to offer any opinions that would strengthen their case, they let me hit the street. Screwing lawyers doesn't sound like fun to me either, but the stenographer was quite easy on the eyes.
