  1. Just get a Music Fidelity V-Link. Those are about $150. Not sure if that is cheap enough.
  2. I have my tickets booked. Staying at the Hyatt Techno Thingy.
  3. Purchased. Thanks for the heads up!
  4. This is what the guy advertised: "The Objective2 (O2) is my attempt at a “One-Size-Fits-Nearly-All” headphone amp. It can drive most any headphone from the most sensitive IEMs to some really power hungry full size cans from 16 to 600 ohms. It’s small, inexpensive, and runs on batteries or AC power."
  5. If I am understanding you correctly, you have a broken tap trapped in aluminum and need to remove it. In the past what I have done is to use a very small drill bit to drill a small hole into the trapped tap. Then I use a broken bolt kit to remove. Been years since I have done this, so, there may be better ways of doing it now.
  6. My RS-2 rig is the best I have ever heard. I use it with a special CMOY amp. I prefer this rig to my PS-1, HP1K, HD800, etc. Perhaps the pair you had did not have the yellow pads with the quarter mod? That makes a huge difference. Also, you should use a flat head screwdriver to pry off the button on the RS2 - that button really holds back the sound quality. Cheers!
  7. Find a DIY friend. Probably do not ask someone you do not know. Another idea is to contact APS. Good luck.
  8. Ground cocoa. It brews like coffee, but you can use the grounds over and over again. Since chocolate is a super food, it is supposed to be good for you. I don't know about any of that, and suspect that most of it is BS, but I do know that this stuff tastes good with a little milk and sugar. And it gives me a nice pleasant buzz without any jitters.
  9. I threw up in my mouth a little when I read this.
  10. Crio Bru is pretty awesome stuff:

  12. **Deleted** It won't work for what you want.
  13. "Scientific" research on the best beer koozies: http://www.myscienceproject.org/beer.html Surprised these designs did not score better:
  14. Last weekend I went caving in the Timpanogos Caves. Here's a cool write up of the adventure (including pictures!): http://www.avianexplorer.com/2011/08/timpanogos-caves/
  15. How stupid are you?
  16. Marc, did you read the welcome email? If so, did you take it seriously. Show some respect by adhering to that email, and you will find that this is a wonderful place to spend your time. Otherwise, expect the worst.
  17. Excellent album.
  18. I got a pair from B&H, and am sending them back for an exchange today. The right ear cup was defective and would "click" if I moved my head too quickly in any direction. No amount of adjusting the head band helped this. Re: SQ, that do sound very good but have a "metallic" noise about them that gets tiring after about two hours.
  19. Grace M903. Sounds pretty darn good with grados, especially HF-2. The asynchronous USB works better with a Mac than a PC. On a PC it causes spotify to crash ever couple of songs.
  20. Beyerdynamic DT 1350 arrived today. They were available for 5 seconds at B&H.
