Head-Case Fantasy Football
I've never done anything other than a live draft so this should be interesting.

Post the last thing you bought!
I've had the 16.5 for a couple of weeks. Did a better job vacuuming compared to the NG (and it was nice not having the velvet lip always drag on the just cleaned side which left a 1 cm dust strip even with new lips) and I can do my three pass clean in less than a minute on the VPI.

Watches
MRI machines by any chance? New Explorer is out in November, I am thinking about getting it.

Watches
Do you work around strong magnetic fields? This isn't intended to be a smart ass comment, I'm really curious. IMO most Rolex users aren't buying them for their "intended" use ie Seadwellers on divers, chrono watches for racing enthusiasts, etc.

Any recommendations for a USB wireless thing for OS 10.5?

Ins-n-Outs of In-N-Out
I'll try my hand at making the condiments. But In-In-Out beef is only good as far as fast food goes. I much prefer a my recipe on a grill, I'll give it a shot on a pan with the mustard grilling; should be an interesting experiment at least.

The Headcase Stax thread
I believe the SR-007 MK2 have the port near the earpads as well.

Audeze LCD-2
I'll try and find the thread, but he did admit to hearing loss and his average playing levels were unsafe. I need to look at the output levels for ipods, but maybe they are capable of "playing" (driving was the wrong word?) an Audeze at 100 db albeit riddled with distortion and sounding like crap. I still didn't see it as a serious post, I guess only jcx knows.

Audeze LCD-2
There is a planar thread on AA and someone has measured their grand hitting 120 db at the peaks in their room. Followed by the usual postings about how electrostats aren't suitable for loud classical. How am I wrong about the second part? Based on a tongue in cheek post about the ipod driving the Audeze?

I don't know if I saw that as a compliment or not, it was probably intended as such

Audeze LCD-2
True, I guess I was implying that I met him as well, but I can understand if that didn't come across in my post. Dynamic peak headroom doesn't mean you're listening at 120 db sustained. There are instruments like a concert grand that can hit 120 db peaks, in short attacks this will not hurt your hearing. I would think designing an amp means you know the purpose of an amp

Good piece. Thanks for sharing Wayne.

Squeezebox Touch
Have you tried with NTFS? FAT32 is sort of dated for large partitions...

Audeze LCD-2
jcx isn't an he has designed a nice amp I remember hearing it many years ago at a Boston meet.

rain go down the sewers, not up it!
Dry out the actual vinyl and they should be fine. Give them a cleaning if any mucky sleeves stuck to them.

Ouch sorry to hear about the damage to those helpless LPs

What are you listening to Part Two
AP45 vinyl Such a great session. I only wish that SRV would have sang a bit in the Albert King songs and Albert King sang Pride and Joy just to mix things up.
