  1. I agree that it doesn't matter, but I'd push back on there not being consistency. Movies and TV shows almost always have script supervisors whose job is to pay attention to this kind of detail. They aren't 100% perfect at what they do, but they have the kind of job that when it is done well goes unnoticed. In any case, they were fighting an enemy with a single point of failure. Throwing away your entire army with stupid tactics is entirely consistent with the plan to bait out the Night King. ?
  2. Mel lights the Dothraki’s weapons on fire (fire being one of the three established things). Ric’s question also not about the Dothraki but the Unsullied?
  3. Wasn’t a major plot point of a previous season mining tons of dragonglass to equip an army?
  4. Thanks, Dan. Also: https://www.wired.com/story/game-of-thrones-winterfell-battle-tactical-analysis/
  5. Can you do spoilers tags with the editor UI or do you need to manually do the tags in the text field? I would have put mine in spoiler tags but I'm not sure how to do it.
  6. New Rodrigo y Gabriela! Lets go!
  7. So sorry to hear ?
  8. Did you see it in NYC or London, Constantine?
  9. For a gift my mother bought me tickets to the Cursed Child play, which is coming to SF this fall. I had never read the books or seen the movies so I figured it was time pick them up from the library and see what the deal was with the cultural phenomenon I basically bypassed. I'm through the first three books. I can now see why people like them. They are well done, entertaining, and super accessible. While they won't go on my list of favorite books they have been more than good enough for me to finish the series.

    Get your game on!

BL2 was such a fun experience. Years ahead of its time, really. Glad you are enjoying it, KD. I'm cautiously optimistic about BL3. I could care less about what store it is on, but Gearbox has not exactly had a sterling track record since BL2.
  14. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - The Boatman's Call
  15. Happy birthday, maud’dib!
  16. ^ he is too good for it to be pastiche but not good enough that I could listen to the entire thing.
  17. May I recommend Prime 112?
  18. Happy birthday, future ambassador!
  19. Hit By a Train: The Best of Old 97's
  20. The Live Series: Songs of Hope The quality is a bit up-and-down, but the good cuts are real good. If the Boss had never been a musician he still would have made a hell of a writer.
  21. New Dido. Still love that voice all these years later.
  22. Happy birthday, Doug! Hope you and the cats had a fun one!
  23. I don't use the front screen recommendations but I do use the "track radio" feature all the time. I've found a lot of stuff through track radio that I ended up really liking and would have never found otherwise. Listening to music via physical media? LOL
