I am loving Tidal just wish it recommended better, I recall MOG talking be to some strange cool places via the recommendation feature. Also Prince Sign of the Times sounds like the selectively used two different masters as some songs are loud as fuck and others have plenty of headroom? All things considered I'm still very satisfied.

just finished with the HA-1 hooked up the the Genelec 8050s and very good but a bit hard on top bass was nice though. In the end I really like this amp just don't love it.

it's stupid good for $1200 on day one. I tend to decide on gear by listening to the new thing for a week or so pretty exclusively then go back to my baseline set up for comparison. So far it is astonishingly clear, clean and balanced top to bottom. I am missing some of the wetness I get in the midst with the jh13s or the metric halo/extreme set up. As an amp it is way cleaner than the extreme but maybe not as musical.

well my Metric Halo is acting up and need to send it in for service so I ordered the Oppo. Gives me a solid 30 days to decide if I like it enough i keep it as a utility infielder or at the worst ship it back to Mountain View.

The GIK traps did wonders for my overly live room I had in PA, had diffuser panels behind me and the speakers on isolation stands all combined it improved things immensely

no but both presentations were very different in a way that I had never heard by varying the VTF. Not sure what they weigh as they are tiny and I really really want to chalk this up to expectation bias but what I heard was different and in at least one case better. I am very open to the people running the demo (experiment) setting it up in a way that alters the outcome but that would seem like a risky move with the gear out tin the open. I did not closely examine the cart/TT as we were moving quickly to take in as much of the show as we could.
