Might be a dumb question (but hey, that aint a first if you guys been on IRC :D )... but are any of the stands top part customized for the curve of a specific headphone? And great looking stand. Is it supposed to hold two headphones or is the side with the engraving for cables?

what was the price? I've got DX4's that are currently not working. I just get a BZZZ noise/smoke emitting from the back. Currently debating if I want to send it in to M-audio for repairs and pay the fees, or just say goodbye and consider a new speaker at some other far away time.

hm. RIP no work with Firefox 3 beta 5. Is there another equivalent for this version of firefox? Or Opera / IE7. I have 3 browers installed right now... don't know why yet- but having a plugin for any one of those browsers that does what RIP does would be nice.

Jenalabs - r10 - thumbs down icon, it'll do a half decent job. Since it's definately against the current hype.

I had that issue with my iPod too. Except I paid for it to be repaired by Apple. I had hard drive issues (I think?) songs skip (some songs in entirety, others a few seconds in at random)/ menu freezes, then queues up all the commands maybe a minute later / and also some battery issues. Well not all of those symptoms, I think I had 2 of them when I first sent it back for repair. It came back and exhibited a 3rd symptom. I flamed the hell outa them when I filed for my 2nd repair. I think they didn't charge me for that one (or refunded my credit card for the 2nd repair, after reading the report). LoL. -- Not to poke fun at markl, since I've never heard an R10 nor have I heard the denons in any shape or form (modded/unmodded). But that's one R10 the d5000 will beat. Nobody can argue that.

Also there seems to be no hype here, or if there is, it's a lot smaller in scale. Hyped up items are what truly make me sorry about my wallet afterwards =/. =/ Just spent like 5+ minutes looking for a damn cable rack at bottlehead's site... (looked at the interconnect page-> saw none. hit up products page, went to parts and accessories-> saw none) Couldn't find it for quite awhile, reloaded the interonnect page, and realized the rack was there the whole time.

Currently using my foobar+m-audio transit (TOSlink)--> Presonus Central Station. Then the balanced outs of the Central Station to the hd600, via hd650 stock cable in balanced mode. Bought a Cardas SE cable, to try with the CS headphone out, and the gilmore lite w/ DPS out.

I've been meaning to try the k500/501/240s, but I've always backed out either due to lack of funds/ funds in the wrong form (didn't have paypal access in the past), or my fear I'd break the phone while trying to replace some of the parts. Been unhappy with the hd600s for while, going to try a few cables (Yes I know cables won't miraculously completely change the headphone's signature-- but some still say the cables are needed to help them shine) . If they don't sit with me, I'm saying goodbye to the phone. Have had the hd600's for far too long, always deciding at the last second not to sell, incase I'd regret it later on. After that, try the k240s/500s and decide if I want to get rid of the k701s.

Mine are serial 1839, only have one foam pad/disk on each side. I don't believe the previous owner did anything with switching the foam, but I could be wrong.

I've also applied. My charts are kind of messed up though, last.fm was running while I was attempting to burn in some stuff.

I was unable to locate the product on the website. I tried looking through the english version of the site, was able to find some a-t branded stands. Then switching to chinese version and attempting to browse a bit, I found a few more, some weird looking senn one, but still did not locate the acrylic one. Was wondering if you could link me to it. Thanks
