^ Want. Still have my commuter Trek torn apart in the basement, waiting on cables/housing. May have the derailleur hanger aligned (did get it very close, but don't have the proper tool for doing it.) I screwed a spare wheel into the der. hanger and measured from the rim of that to the rim of the actual wheel. It had been off quite a bit when I first got the bike. Finally starting to get nice enough to consider riding here.

New HBO series True Detective
I had saved/put off watching the season finale until last night. It did not disappoint! It will be interesting to see what they might do for Season 2, even though it hasn't been announced by HBO yet. Given the critical acclaim and viewer numbers, I would be surprised if it is not picked up for another season. Matthew McConaughey has already said he would not return, but since it is an anthology, that is no surprise.

Any recommendations on how and what to get to do remote admin / etc. on my Mom's Mac Mini? Neither my brother or I have been to my mom's since Christmas, and trying to talk her thru some steps over the phone the other day was painful. Plus she is still having a problem with mail and I can't tell what is going on. Having something for my brother or I do take control of her Mac (using another Mac) would be quite helpful. All machines are running OSX Mavericks. Thanks!

Yeah, that sucks. As with both of you, I didn't always agree with him, but I guess different thoughts/perspectives have their place.

Fuck in snow
This. For a northerner who has lived in the south, driving on ice just ain't happening, no matter how much experience you have. Well, experience does help, but not that much Without plows/salt trucks, the just ain't happening phrase does come to mind, and that is after driving thru a snowstorm here when they were running low/out of salt. Stay safe!

Hmm, problems with lead-free ball grid array (BGA) devices? Hope you are lucky and this isn't it. RoHS should be repealed IMHO as I think it causes more landfill clutter (from people pitching failed devices) and the lead in electronics devices isn't nearly as much of a problem as they seemed to think at the time.

Fuck in snow
^ Glad to hear it Dan! Agreed. This one is the suckiest winter I can recall since moving to Chicago in the late '80s.

Fuck in snow
^ Yeah, ice sucks. Stay safe guys. We got maybe 4" so far, made the drive into work really slow. Had to jump my son's car to move it last night (needs a battery), and a cop gave him a ticket yesterday for it being parked in the cul de sac for days. Put the car in the driveway last night, had to jump it this morning and put it back out on the street. Will replace the battery tonight. Love how he waits for the best days for these things

Equipment racks and what have you
That rack from amazon didn't look too bad particularly for the price posty...
