  1. Sounds like a right hand, left hand thing.
  2. JP had an eXemplar 2900. It's mine now. It's by far the best digital front end that I have owned, but I haven't compared it head to head with anything other than my sacdmods E5. The eXemplar wins hands down. I haven't heard an eXemplar 3910, but like Todd says, I would think that it could only be better than the 2900 because the underlying player is better.
  3. When she gets older, I bet that Lily goes to daddy rather than to mommy when she wants her hair braided.
  4. For a true everyday and cooking bourbon, here's my favorite:
  5. Shoot, forgot the most expensive recent purchase. The batteries in my old Sonicare finally were down to only holding enough for about 4-5 brushes between between charges. Did some research and bought this at Costco:
  6. I went on a minor shopping spree in the last couple of weeks. Here's the list: 2 Reconditioned Hitachi 14.4V cordless drills 1 pair size 9 Keen Newport H2 Sandals 1 pair size 9.5 Keen Aruba Sandals 1 pair size 9 OluKai Rabbit Kekai slides 1 Microsoft Natural Keyboard Elite 3 sets of replacement batteries for Vtec wireless phones That should hold me until Xmas. We, except for new music.
  7. I love my Anthem Int 1. Here's one for sale in Canada.
  8. Yes, this is a great place to live. It has a nice, mild climate year round. The problems you'll have to deal with if you stay here are: 1. It's extremely expensive here. Buying a house is very difficult. Of course, it's just as expensive in the Bay area and not near as nice IMO. 2. It's a backwater town, a nice backwater town but backwater none the less. At your age, I wanted something more exciting and you may too. 3. High-tech employment opportunities are limited compared to the Bay area and other high-tech centers. Because of that, pay is somewhat less and, if you are ambitious, growth opportunities are very limited. None of these limitations are important to me and Stacy. We enjoy living here and will only move if we have to. For us, the benefits of living here far outweigh the problems.
  9. Things that are smooth are definitely easier to down than things that are less smooth.
  10. Justin, are you bringing the BHSE prototype? I would think that Ray will have his stat prototype and it would be interesting to compare the two.
  11. My size 9.5 Arubas came in today. They are slightly big but not enough to be a problem. So I'm now set for sandals, at least for a while. It's funny, I find them to be more attractive that any Birk I've seen. It remains to be seen if they are as nice as (new) Birks on my body.
  12. Thanks Antonio. Me too. I'd be working on the software for these products: Sonos, Inc.
  13. Thanks. Fixed it. Manny for MVP! Go Dodgers (and take the Clippers with you )
  14. I had a phone interview this morning with the hiring manager, who is in Cambridge, MA. I think that it went well. I'll know for sure if I get called again.
  15. It sounds like your interview went very well. Congratulations! I hope mine does too.
  16. Happy Birthday!
  17. NHL Eastern Conference preview on the NHLHD channel. Eat your heart out Dan.
  18. That will work if he's a Yankee fan. Otherwise ...
  19. I just heard back from Sonos' recruiter. He has set up a phone interview for me tomorrow at 9 am with the hiring manager, who happens to be in Cambridge, MA. I assume that if I pass this, I'll interview with potential coworkers. Then we'll see.
  20. For an Omega II, I think that you'd be better off with something like this (the rig, not Vicki):
  21. Here's a chance to see if he's really changing his business model a bit. I will say that he brought nothing totally new to the June NorCal meet. He brought the Odyssey but we saw it at CanJam. He also brought an SDS-XLR (or something similar) that he was delivering. So maybe he really is fixing things.
  22. I pinged Peter because in addition to having really good ears, he went from a JPN to the L3000. So I knew he had lots of experience with both. I don't know. It sounds like you're kind of wishy-washy. Thanks for justifying my pinging you.
  23. I did my NE stint from 1980 through 1985. Pretty place but I'm happier being here. I like being able to ride motorcycles year round.
  24. Calling Iron_Dreamer.
