I know of a decent Chinese restaurant in TO. Can't remember its name, but it's on the nw corner of Moorpark and Los Arboles (I think). Sorry I can't be more definite. I'll ask my sister the next time I talk to her.

I'll have to try it if and when I get back to the Boston area. I checked for the French restaurant in Harvard. It turns out that it's still there, but in Acton, not Harvard. I'm getting old and my memory isn't what it once was. Besides, it was more than 20 years ago. The restaurant is Le Lyonnais. It was quite good and the prices are quite reasonable. Do it in the summer and you can finish it off with some ice cream from Kimball Farms in Littleton.

I haven't been to L'Espalier since the early 80's. It's a really nice restaurant. Glad to see it's still going strong. There used to be a really nice French restaurant in Harvard too. I can't remember its name, but if it's still there, it's probably worth a visit. At least it used to be. Oh yeah. Beefy, the beer looks good too.

It's true. Chevalines, horse meat butcher shops, are everywhere. They are easy to spot as they have a figure of a horse's head above the door. I've had ground horse meat. It's leaner and sweeter than ground beef.

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked out Ridgid but the cost for Li-Poly battery versions is significantly higher than the Hitachi I'm looking at. As I said, I'm a fairly light user of cordless drills and think the Hitachi will do what I need. If I find I need a heavier duty drill, I'll take another look at the 18V Ridgid. I just ordered the Hitachi. Would anybody like a 14.4V B&D Fire Storm drill? I'll be happy to pass it on for the cost of shipping. Of course, you pretty much need to have working batteries for this deal to make any sense.

I just found this Hitachi. It has all the features I like on my Firestorm plus it has lithium ion batteries, and is the same price as 2 batteries and a charger would be. Any reason I shouldn't just pull the trigger on this? Edit: Shipping would be $14.59, so unless a red flag appears soon, I'm going for it.

Veal. Love the taste, but can't abide how the animals are treated to make it veal. I decided several years ago to strike veal from my diet and won't voluntarily eat it. About the only case where I would knowingly eat it (besides starvation) is to avoid offending somebody.

I have an older B&D 14.4V Fire Storm cordless drill. This drill has 2 speed ranges and a wide range of torque settings. i really like it except for one minor problem. after many years of light use, i tried to use it only to find that both batteries are toast and that the charger puts out nothing. A quick search of the web shows that this is not an uncommon problem with these batteries and charger. I searched the web again and it looks like 2 replacement batteries and a charger would be at least $80. It occurs to me that I might be able to get an entire drill kit for not much more than that. So can anybody recommend a drill kit with similar features in the $80 to $140 range? I'm a fairly light user so not need a heavy duty monster. I would like something that is more reliable than the B&D has been. Thanks in advance for your responses.

Maybe I don't understand what you mean by super low profile, but my Westone UM2s have such a low profile that I can comfortably lay the side of my head down on a pillow. I haven't tried them with a helmet yet, but I think that they would be fine. If you haven't already, you might want to try them.

Why? This is not a new idea. The fixed set is for use with a preamp or integrated amp. The variable output allows the CD player to be plugged directly into an amp. In that case, it acts as its own preamp.

I hope that your doctor warned you of one of the major side effects of Vicodin. Start adding lots of fiber to your diet now, if you haven't already done so. Be ready for the need to take a bulk type laxative in the near future. A couple of years ago I broke 6 ribs in a motorcycle crash. Nobody warned me.
