Trends TA-10 speaker amp. The Stax rig will be in place soon. Sweet, I call Canadian dibs if you decide to sell it.

netbook for $370 or less (taxes, shipping etc included)
I'd be very surprised if Apple sells a netbook for less than 370$, or even 500$ for that matter. If they do, it'll probably be a crippled version of OS X or something, because it'd kill their laptop maket otherwise. I'd buy a cheap netbook and Hackintosh it if you really want OS X.

Audeze LCD-1 just landed!
Is there a special tax in California because they know people there have loads of money to buy gear?

Good stuff, I hope you'll enjoy it.

The Headcase Stax thread
Did anyone here ever tried powering a SRD-7 setup using a Gainclone amp? I'm considering cheap DIY solutions right now because I'm on a short budget and it seems a Gainclone would be more than enough spec-wise for a Stax setup.

Music industry plans new digital format
Unfortunately, the only good online ressources to obtain music right now are illegal. I'd gladly pay for a service like what.cd or waffles.fm that would offer a huge archive of albums in FLAC, but until then, I'll continue to buy music in CD format and I'll download what I can't find in stores. I'm part of Generation Y and I kind of like album art and sleeve notes, but in the end what I want is music and I'd take a big archive of FLAC albums over crappy MP3s with album art.

Stax Lambda Pro and SRD-7 Pro. I just need to find a suitable speaker amp now and I'll be enjoying Stax goodness again.

New Zune HD
If you jailbreak your iPod Touch, it's possible to upload files without using iTunes. Also, considering how bad Zune software is, I wouldn't put too much hope on the new software being better than iTunes.

NHL 2008/2009 edition
Theo Fleury attempting comeback to the NHL Trying to pull a Lemieux? Running out of money to buy coke? I say good for him if he's able to do it, but at 5'6'' and 41 years old, he'd better be in the best shape he's ever been or he's going to get killed on ice.

Make sure to bring an airplane adapter so you can plug your latest variation of the Orthodome.

Windows 7
Windows is usually pretty good for supporting old hardware, at least compared to Apple. I'd be pissed off if I had a two-years old G5 that isn't supported in Snow Leopard.

Great news from North Korea
Maybe Bill played a tune on sax that warmed Kim Jong Il cold heart. The biggest comedy moment with North Korea was when Jong Il dismissed his oldest son as future nation leader because he tried entering Japan with a fake passpost to visit Disney.

Snow Leopard available for Pre-Order
Have they said yet how the upgrade price is going to work for Leopard users? I plan to do a clean install for Snow Leopard, not some kind of OS upgrade.

The Headcase Stax thread
Hell yeah, the Lambda Sig/SRM-T1S combo I had at some point was awesome and definitely a deal at a little bit less than 1000$. I'd go as far as saying it beat the O2 in terms of openness and air, but with that said, the O2 is better in everything else IMO. Still, I'd take the Sig or some Lambda variation over any dynamic headphone I've heard without even thinking.

QFT. If it's the same KGSS DX I used to have, the bass definition and quantity with the O2Mk1 is just incredible.
