  1. There is a new Aimee Mann album? Rad.
  2. Finally getting around to it.
  3. That's awesome!
  4. That's because they are compressing it, which makes it not the same content.
  5. There is no difference. It is the same content data.
  6. You realize that 1080i and 720p are the same things presented in slightly different ways, right?
  7. Nice. I have a bunch of sunglasses, but the only pair I routinely keep in my car are my Dillons.
  8. You look good, Brent. AO sunglasses, or Randolphs?
  9. Excellent board game breakfast (we didn't quite solve case one of Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective, but we came close), mediocre coffee date, now making tacos with Gardien "Beefless tips," which, having sampled one, are way closer to a solid beef chunk than I ever thought a meat substitute could be. The stuff even sears well.
  10. Happy birthday!
  11. I smoked a cigar last night, my first of the year, but it was nothing special, just an RP Vintage '99. It was nice, though.
  12. .
  13. I wish I had your metabolism, Colin.
  14. I just sampled the 'kraut. It's getting there!
  15. Seafood makes up for frozen fries.
  16. If you want an iPad, not getting an iPad is a terrible option.
  17. Those are the sweet potato fries I buy at Kroger, too. Otherwise, looks tasty (those are tasty sweet potato fires, or I wouldn't get them)!
  18. If you read comics at all, Sam, the iPad is the way to go.
  19. You clearly don't read enough comic books, Nate.
  20. I'd be surprised if the Air 2 was replaced with another Air. I think they are going to have a baseline "iPad" and an "iPad Pro."
  21. my iPad Air 2 and a Belkin "Ultimate Pro Keyboard" completely replaced a laptop for me, for any situation where I don't need Excel plugins (which I've yet to need "on the road").
  22. Wait a second; BBQing is weather dependent? Back when I used to do such things, I once smoked a 10 pound Boston Butt when there was a foot of snow on the ground and it was below 0 (F, not C). It made temperature regulation more difficult, especially when it started snowing again, but it was certainly doable, especially with a tarp strung up. What happened to the stiff-upper-lip?
  23. That's a great looking sear.
