  1. Really? I mean, unless its DAC is competitive with what I've got coming out of my computer, I just don't see it.

  3. day two bump
  4. Not off-hand, sorry. I'd normally ask my ex-housemate, who had a Consumers' Checkbook account, but I think she let it expire.
  5. Matt Elliott, Only Myocardial Infarction can Break Your Heart
  6. I haven't been paying attention -- have they been coming out with new stuff? I've seen variations on the Kindle -- has there been anything actually new? EDIT: Besides the Firestick, of which I am aware.
  7. Today's bump.
  8. I found out that Pallbearer use a lot of Earthquaker Devices and Black Arts Toneworks pedals, two of my favourite companies. Also, I was watching some Calexico, and now I want one of these:
  9. A bargain at twice the price. I still need to watch all mah extras and commentaries and whatnot.
  10. Mouse On Mars 21 again collaborations/celebrations/etc. Probably Devics next.
  11. Happy birthday! (party favour noise)
  12. Happy birthday, Haj, hope you are feeling better today, and that you continue to feel better.
  13. I would have assumed that any labels were old, outdated, and inaccurate. So...sympathies.
  14. This made me laugh so hard, I don't know why. Maybe it was because it was right after Colin's comment (two in a row).
  15. Archive -- pretty cool Brit hip-hop, kinda Massive Attack meets Radiohead EDIT: check this shit out! This shit is epic:

  18. Yeezh, Haj. Horrible day for it. One of my best buds with whom I was supposed to have Thanksgiving also had to cancel for similar reasons. In his case, we think it's food poisoning.
  19. Sweetwater has a lot of Moog and Antelope stuff on sale right now. Right on the front page.
  20. Don't mind me, I see humour in everything.
  21. Well, read The Far Time Incident before you read Runestone Incident. If you like the one, you'll like the other. And yup, I got that in my kindle reserves somewhere.
  22. They did make it all black, however, so there's that. Emotiva Holiday sale. In the powered monitor department: Airmotivs a little bit on sale; Stealths not at all.
  23. Finished The Runestone Incident -- gave it 5 stars on Amazon, but would wish to give it 4.5, as it's not quite up there with the best, but I enjoyed it heroically, and I really like her well-thought-out mythology on time travel ("history protects itself"). There's room for a lot of stories there. Started Indexing (Seanan McGuire) -- loving it already. It's not quite as comedic as Discount Armageddon (largely because all the characters are angry all the time), but the material is funny which gives it a nicely different flavour from her other novels.
  24. Welcome to the neighborhood, neighbor!
