  1. I don't know where Dogwood Tavern is, neither, but looked it up. Wasn't aware of it.
  2. Which one?
  3. (not actual size)
  4. Not on Tidal, where are you finding these? Or do you own them? I'll check Spotify later -- working from home, but still in my work day, so trying to be disciplined and keep distractions to a minimum.
  5. (wanders off to sample)
  6. And the episode after that -- the funeral episode, "The Return of the Golden Child" -- is even better. And the episode after that -- the German Cuisine episode, "Moss and the German" -- is even better. I don't think I can take much more hilarity. I relate the most with Richmond, by the way. "What funeral?"
  7. No...this was more the image I was trying to conjure:
  8. Just watched the "The Work Outing" episode. Fabulous! Brilliant! (pew pew pew pew pew!) 5 stars!
  9. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. -- oh, look, it's Edward James Olmos.
  10. Mommy squid: I thought squid fell under the cephalopod banner, not fish. "Invertebrate and proud." Oh, and for the record? That is not what I am eating right now, right now I am eating rabbit food (salad from Chop't).
  11. Apparently The Thick of It is on Hulu; I've been meaning to watch this since I saw In the Loop way back when it came out.
  12. Yeah, organic >> ED-209, those things might shoot your foot off if the rest of you keeps still.
  13. An ED-209?
  14. That's their "Blast!" internet service, $78.95/month, second from the top tier. I need to buy my own modem, though, with the modem rental it works out to about $10 more. I forget what the promised data rates are, but I think this is faster.
  15. (squints) That's a little bit too consistent.
  16. Also, it's still fucking Comcast.
  17. I'm pretty sure I'm legally required to watch them all, I'm surprised no-one (neither online nor in-real-life) has called me on that.
  18. Mmm...Nigiri...
  19. Actually, I've never seen The IT Crowd other than bits and clips that Graim posts, so started watching it. Brilliant. "You two are used to being social piranhas."
  20. Happy birthday, Tyler! (Chinese party favour noise)
  21. Very cool. I've loved her since...the second album, I think? Legs to Make Us Longer...but I've never seen her live.
  22. Orange chicken -- Soy Vay (yes, really look it up -- it started out with two friends, a Jewish boy and a Chinese girl and their mutual love for food) Hoisin Garlic marinade mixed 50/50 with orange juice, marinade for two days (only meant to do one, but got lazy yesterday), added water chestnuts and bamboo shoots (yes, again), and stir fried the lot I have a feeling this would be good over some cabbage and cauliflower "rice" substitute, I have enough left over that I'm going to try that tomorrow. This stuff is superlative. It's not perfect -- the veggies could be a bit more done, it could be a touch spicier, and a bit less rich, but I'm happier with this than most restaurants' orange chicken. Other than Ricky's Rice Bowl.
