  1. I'm jealous of all you pasta eaters, even though I had some delicious drunken noodle earlier, think I'll be having pasta tomorrow for b@l (breakfast at lunchtime).
  2. Okay, that vegan pad thai guy in the metal headphones thread was pretty great, too, maybe I don't hate them that much. But this is the best: Also, is that how, 'Anneke' is pronounced? I've always pronounced it, uh-NECK-ee -- should I prepare myself for a lifelong facepalm?
  3. I could actually follow that.
  4. Yes, that is excellent, but if you're going to use head-fi as a reference, ... you do know they have a forum as well, right? Why not discuss it there? The Grace m903 is an excellent choice, by the way. And unholy carp, that chart! There's no way we would ever attempt anything like that, I don't think we have enough data points, much less active members willing to participate.
  5. That's a thing of beauty. One of my once-in-a-blue-moon vices is French Toast (a relative of pancakes). Now I want some.
  6. And this is different in how things work elsewhere on the internet? This would endear you...anywhere else?
  7. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=408987943918 And I only mention that by way of explanation of why I admire him so -- if he can imitate anyone and still develop a recognizable style, that's pretty LEVEL: MASTER to me.
  8. Mine's, "...as long as it doesn't have electronics." Or rather, was, I haven't had a need for that since I joined CSC.
  9. Correct. I don't know what I was thinking.
  10. Miles, but more as a bandleader/mastermind/talent magnet/magnate. I'm a huge fan of Chick Corea's lyricality as composer. I realize he doesn't improvise that much the way the others mentioned here do, but he's considered a jazz musician so there you go. And definitely Oscar Peterson after that video I reshared on Facebook the other day, I've developed a new appreciation for him. I really don't know enough about jazz considering how much I love it, I really should listen and learn more.
  11. Yeah, definitely not, and that is actually another point -- I'm more likely to accidentally walk in with the smartwatch than with the smartphone.
  12. He's an electrostatic guy, so he'll probably say Final or Quad. For amp, use baked beans with bacon.
  13. You know, actually, this time, I do. Don't think of it as the same thing as the phone, think of it as a satellite screen to your phone, or just a smart satellite screen. There's certain apps I often want frequent access to, and it'd be cool to have it entirely programmable -- for instance, the ticker on the Dow Jones, S&P 500, a specific stock that's going IPO today? That kind of thing.
  14. tl;dr, but I got as far as the subject title, so: ...also, I prefer the MK II for metal and rock'n'roll by a small margin. And a lot of people swear by Gradoes. Grados. Gradoseses. HF1 or HF2 or PS1. Also, VTGs.
  15. Is that a plastic bucket? Mmm...I think it's going to rattle. However if it's resin, it should be fine. Feedbag == room treatment? Well...that's...novel...
  16. I saw that you posted "Crybaby Wah-wah pedal" in response to Jeff's query, but I didn't watch the video so didn't realize it was an HOUR LONG DOCUMENTARY. So yeah, mah bad. And no, I didn't get one, I just thought it was a cool video that would appeal to guitarists.
  17. First track from Gyro....I mean, Syro:
