Archer Bastard chef episode Wong wong wong Wongwongwong Wongwongwongwongwong

Yeezh, Haj. Horrible day for it. One of my best buds with whom I was supposed to have Thanksgiving also had to cancel for similar reasons. In his case, we think it's food poisoning.

Sweetwater has a lot of Moog and Antelope stuff on sale right now. Right on the front page.

Don't mind me, I see humour in everything.

Well, read The Far Time Incident before you read Runestone Incident. If you like the one, you'll like the other. And yup, I got that in my kindle reserves somewhere.

They did make it all black, however, so there's that. Emotiva Holiday sale. In the powered monitor department: Airmotivs a little bit on sale; Stealths not at all.

Finished The Runestone Incident -- gave it 5 stars on Amazon, but would wish to give it 4.5, as it's not quite up there with the best, but I enjoyed it heroically, and I really like her well-thought-out mythology on time travel ("history protects itself"). There's room for a lot of stories there. Started Indexing (Seanan McGuire) -- loving it already. It's not quite as comedic as Discount Armageddon (largely because all the characters are angry all the time), but the material is funny which gives it a nicely different flavour from her other novels.

Welcome to the neighborhood, neighbor!

General question: is plastic a good substance to be used in the manufacture of electrostatic headphones, what with their being staticky and lint magnets and all?

Lollers -- I automatically looked in the South (was wrong). Less surprising: deer jerky in WV. EDIT: Cthurkey (click for imgur link) (notice the bacon):

There's another one?

6:10 -- purely arbitrary And Mikey? The song was at the beginning.

DC area is always borderline, so we won't know if we get any snow until tomorrow. According to the weather guy on the radio, it depends how cold we can work down to, before the precipitation starts in the afternoon. But because of what day it is (biggest driving day of the year), they're recommending everyone stay off the roads if they can, anyway, even if it's just rain.

Real, working turntable made out of Lego (click picture for link).

GoGo Penguin, v2.0 on Tidal -- RIYL The Bad Plus (if they didn't do covers), Flim & the BBs (acoustic), Hiromi's current album Alive, et al

^

They must have changed it, it now says 6000.

668 already sold when I looked earlier, up to 734 now. Is there an upper limit to the number that will be allowed to be sold at US$200? US$200 is a pretty excellent price for a K702 clone done by the company that made the K702.

Loscil, Sea Island on Tidal because work==electro ambient (today, anyway)

Danke schoen! (those onions look perfect)

I think mostly it was wishful thinking, to justify his purchase of the tube warehouse. Entirely "thinking" out of my ass, as I have not heard from him, even indirectly through Hirsch, since then.

(drools) (drops jaw) (drools [more] profusely)
