  1. Little Boots, Hands -- synthpop on the order of Goldfrapp, Kylie, et al. Quite retro and very pop, but with some strong songwriting underneath: Little Boots - Stuck on Repeat
  2. And the stylized "s" logo is a little too close to what would be the font for the Beats "b" -- this is one lawsuit I actually think is Monster's.
  3. That's actually pretty cool. They also have Owl w/headphones.
  4. We were getting a lot of double-posts, and we're seeing if keeping the threads shorter helps with that, because it seemed to be more with the longer threads.
  5. Actually, you're kind of agreeing. The alternative viewpoint could be phrased thusly: ...they won't sound different, then they probably won't. And I don't know of any DBT that could refute that particular placebo effect. And kudos to all for keeping this potential charged subject civil. Cheers!
  6. Not necessarily the same, this is more about the DACses than about the transports: pro HD shootout.
  7. Enemy of the Sun, Caedium -- quite easily album of the week for me. Nicely complex metal without being "math metal", and the vocals aren't laughably bad.
  8. Are you sure about this? I thought they had to be bit-perfect in order for DTS to work. I thought running a DTS DVD (or CD, if you can find one) into a DTS-decoding receiver was another way to check bit-perfection.
  9. Somehow I missed this first time through -- the addition of USB (async, no less -- really?!?!? (becomes excited like a puppy wagging his tail)) is a definite plus. Should be on anyone's short list in the market (I no longer am, but if I come into some money somehow, then I'd probably seriously consider it).
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2eiP12hQQY. And yes, I realize there's probably an app for that.
  11. She's pretty great. Reminds me of Mary Ford w/Les Paul, mostly due to the self-harmonizing, but the fact that it's a good song to begin with doesn't hurt.
  12. hemce, support headcase!
  13. Crematory, Black Pearls
  14. They misspelled Hackensack. Or they ran out of C's. Of course, this coming from a placed calling itself ShopRite.
  15. Naw, I'm just giving you crap, you're entitled to like and dislike what you like...and dislike. I think we've long since established that we have different tastes in beers. For the record: the ultimate count after all was said and done with Yoo-Hoppy-Hoo: One bomber to 5 singles. So what is that, 22 to 60 oz? So more like 1:3? Eau de Cookie was 1 single to one bomber, so 12 oz to 22, or closer to 1:2. I've got a Southern Tier Oat in the fridge for Eau de Cookie II.
  16. That's going to be one epic cake. Pixplzkthnxby.
  17. Incorrect. It is great. That part could well be true.
  18. Marmageddon Porter -- very good, top 10, possibly top 3 Sent from mah Droid
  19. I just wanted to make it searchable.
  20. Badger badger badger badger...horned frog...horned frog...badger badger badger badger... I hate when that happens.
  21. When the fuck did V come back on? Last I remember, it was episode 6, and it wasn't due back until 2011, now apparently there are 12 episodes (I.E. 6 that I missed)?!?!? WTF? Also, I can't find the V thread.
  22. I passively recognize about half of those people. Anyone want to name them? I got Rebecca Gayheart as the woman at one end of the table, Chris Kattan as the guy next to her, but I missed the rest. Who was the guy at the other end of the table? He looked familiar.
  23. Very interesting, thanks for posting. Open source is the best. (wanders off, downloads source)
