Rega has some of the best PRAT I've heard, at least at <US$1K levels (Planet, Planet 2000, Apollo). Not the last word in detail, but very listenable, non-fatiguing, and analogue-y.

I only just discovered the ATH-ES10, and it looks to be fairly high grade. Anyone heard both this and the ESW10 and want to compare? Or have other things to say about the ES10 (that's the shiny titanium one)?

It was my understanding that it's more than psychological, that your muscles actually need the downtime literally to grow. But I have to admit to only having an newb's understanding of these things.
