  1. They misspelled Hackensack. Or they ran out of C's. Of course, this coming from a placed calling itself ShopRite.
  2. Naw, I'm just giving you crap, you're entitled to like and dislike what you like...and dislike. I think we've long since established that we have different tastes in beers. For the record: the ultimate count after all was said and done with Yoo-Hoppy-Hoo: One bomber to 5 singles. So what is that, 22 to 60 oz? So more like 1:3? Eau de Cookie was 1 single to one bomber, so 12 oz to 22, or closer to 1:2. I've got a Southern Tier Oat in the fridge for Eau de Cookie II.
  3. That's going to be one epic cake. Pixplzkthnxby.
  4. Incorrect. It is great. That part could well be true.
  5. Marmageddon Porter -- very good, top 10, possibly top 3 Sent from mah Droid
  6. I just wanted to make it searchable.
  7. Badger badger badger badger...horned frog...horned frog...badger badger badger badger... I hate when that happens.
  8. When the fuck did V come back on? Last I remember, it was episode 6, and it wasn't due back until 2011, now apparently there are 12 episodes (I.E. 6 that I missed)?!?!? WTF? Also, I can't find the V thread.
  9. I passively recognize about half of those people. Anyone want to name them? I got Rebecca Gayheart as the woman at one end of the table, Chris Kattan as the guy next to her, but I missed the rest. Who was the guy at the other end of the table? He looked familiar.
  10. Very interesting, thanks for posting. Open source is the best. (wanders off, downloads source)
  11. Alas, not enough.
  12. No, you're supposed to screw the hooker.
  13. Allow me to mini-retort, as well: I do not find myself praying for the next generation software; I do not find it ugly (if you're into curved edges, I can see why you'd prefer the iPhone/iTouch, but I'm not, and I like it black); I want my freakin' keyboard, I got my freakin' keyboard; and finally, having dug behind the scenes on the iPhone, I can tell you they're not that consistent neither. I, personally, did not have any trouble figuring either of them out, but I'm a programmer, so knowing that one program keeps all its files in ~/.mozilla, and another in /usr/share/..., yet another in /var/spool/..., and the windows version keeps stuff in the registry is, quite frankly, an everyday occurence that I have long learned to live with. EDIT: Also, it's on Verizon. Thanks for the help from that other thread, Fanboy McFanboyfanboy. (Just doesn't have the same ring to it.)
  14. Okay, Shilly McShillyshill.
  15. I doubt they will keep their borderline monopoly, but no, iPads are still cool, and still will be. But yeah, you should sell your iTouch now, while the going's good.
  16. Streaming is an entirely different kettle of fish than listening to my iPod collection of tunes -- I can do both in my car, and I prefer mah iPod. Just saying. But I have to admit, I don't listen to my Droid all that much, use it for pretty much everything else. Yes, directions. I'm already at the point where I no longer know what I did without it. I think I made a lot of calls telling people I was running late. Also, for music lovers: Shazam is a must. Also, random shit: Google Sky is fun. Movie lovers: IMDB, Moviefone, Flickster, and RunPee.
  17. Ooh, you get a cookie!
  18. Exactly.
  19. Happy Birthday, oh Owner of The Basement, and Wielder of The Shovel.
  20. Well, if you believe in jitter, then no. Most DACses use a PLL to sync to the incoming signal, so they'll still fluctuate some. Now, whether or not you believe in jitter, and (as is the case with me) if you do believe in jitter, but are skeptical you can hear it, that's something else entirely. So in answer to your question, the transport should only matter if you believe in jitter. Or the digital equivalent of wow and flutter. Addendum: it might also matter if you believe that your source doesn't produce a 100% match of all the bits (I.E. errors).
  21. That's going to give me nightmares.
  22. I'm going to guess: "mediocre".
  23. They're "delivery" people, and they don't want to make the actual deliveries? WTF?
  24. What? What do you mean, "stretched"? I'm assuming you mean that they're put to the limits of their abilities -- that is far from the case. Because they're so close to the ears, they have to produce a much smaller sound waves and therefore have to move much smaller distances.
