  1. Sorry to hear about the pain, Jacob, mothers are like that. I believe it even has a name: martyr syndrome. Srsly, though, hope your leg heals up without complications, that loose cast does not sound good, I agree with everyone else's advice -- just stay off it, and move it as little as possible. Though I'm not a doctor any more'n I am a lawyer.
  2. I need to teach Bobby and/or Luvbug to do that, I'm laughing so hard I'm crying.
  3. Sourdough makes the best French toast. Hey, what do they call French toast in France?
  4. No! That's exactly what they want you to think.
  5. Moar here.
  6. Trout Mask Replica has a sad.
  7. That's an enormous belt buckle. I mean, you could serve a side of beef on that thing. (snicker)
  8. When I first glanced at it, I (incorrectly) thought it was an alternate spelling of osculation.
  9. Invicta watches, too.
  10. Le Pantalon de Tonnerre, Ms. Shelly? C'est tr
  11. I've had Ray's Hellburger, and it's definitely in my top 10, but you have to realize, my favorite is Fuddrucker's, so take that into consideration when dismissing considering my opinion. I do like In-n-Out and Five Guys, too, but...they're still fast-food to me, these ^^ are restaurant burgers, and I sort of use different scales for them, I don't know why (I mean, they're still burgers, right?).
  12. That was brilliant. But now I've got Eno stuck in my head.
  13. Best Parrot Ever.
  14. Awesome. Still a huge fan, and especially of that album. They (Stripmall Architecture) are going to do a live performance of the entire album with a string section sometime in the spring. I wish I could go.
  15. It's clearly IDM. Anyone on the original Artificial Intelligence series of releases would be considered IDM, I would think.
  16. I run my AKG K271 MkII out of a pico slim at work, and it works just fine.
  17. I am really liking it. It captures the space rock aspect from which Porcupine Tree have drifted away. Especially the three long songs, + I Will Light Up Your Eyes + Wretched Soul + ...oh, hell, the whole thing is excellent.
  18. Ah -- no need to apologize, I was just thinking out loud again.
  19. Oh, I hate that. Wow, flashback.
  20. Kaz Sushi?
  21. Wishing the best for Reksy and kitteh. manaox2 -- I got no good advice for you, but just wanted to post and acknowledge and ... I don't know, just show support.
  22. If you can make it out there, I really like the "other" Air & Space museum, Udvar-Hazy. One I haven't been to, but want to, is the Spy Museum. Don't ask me where it is, it's a secret. Of course, if you end up going back, stop by the Baltimore Aquarium on your way.
  23. That's kind of weird. One would think that since it's DIY, one would be able to order another one for you -- if your relationship with him was good, you might have gone through with the sale.
  24. We usually have separate threads for that. E.G. here & here. And yes, I have been known to listen to horribly recorded music, only because the music is so good. I have found the better the system, the easier it is to listen to what is usually otherwise painful. Tubes, especially, seem to make a lot of otherwise intolerable music quite listenable. Euphony FTW.
