What are you EATING right now?
The results from last night -- very tasty, but the other brand (Nature's Soy) was spicier and had a delightful mรกlร taste to it.

Which Cooking Are You?
From last night. I was dysregulating last night something fierce, so I performed one of my comfort activities -- learning to wok.

And now what did you do TODAY?
I feel that. My sisters and I "sat Shiva" (not sure that's the right way to phrase it, since we're all gentiles) when my mother passed away. It was nice -- don't know how else to phrase it. We weren't dancing around or anything, just very...sober, for lack of a better word, but not morose or mourning.

Happy belated birthday! (party favour noise)- VoidLink -- extremely sophistocated malware targeting linux/cloud
LOL, Internet Storm Center didn't have anything on it at the time that I posted. Try this instead: Check Point Research- And now what did you do TODAY?
You quit...Amazon?!?!?- What are you listening to Part the Third
Didn't realize you were that old. ๐- VoidLink -- extremely sophistocated malware targeting linux/cloud
Raising awareness, do your own due dilligence (check your favourite feeds, Internet Storm Center, &c.): VoidLink was detected around 2026-01-13: Cloud-Native Malware Framework; Linux-based; extremely sophistocated; stealthy; modular, adaptive behavior based on detected environment; Go/Zig/C (dammit, now I have to learn Zig); highly in-depth knowledge of Linux internals... As I saw said about about it elsewhere, "targeting Windows, hackers were in the lobby; targeting Linux, hackers are now in the vault".- Happy Birthday Grahame!
Happy birthday, Grษm! Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way... (party favour noise)- Analysis

My favourite discovery of 2025 is Kardi, mostly because of this insanely under-rated powerhouse of a singer, Kim Yeji. I haven't heard them do songs like these two (I'll post the other one in another thread), before, respect.- Podcast Thread
- Songs You Came Across On Some Streaming Service And Thought Your Head-Case Buds Might Enjoy Too. No Critical Endorsement Implied. Fuck Vevo etc.
The audience looks emotionally spent by the end of this. At least, I am.- Podcast Thread

So...yes and no. I wouldn't say it moved further than the book, so much as...expanded everything -- character development of every single character, the detail of side quests, the cinematography, &c. You got some necessary updates, but also TV shows have to do TV show things, so every cast member has to be in every episode (mostly). At least, for the duration of the story arc. It has gotten quite meandery, and somewhat slightly bloated. At least it doesn't fall into the trap of Westworld, where it gets so abstract I'm not sure what the intention was. And yes, Ian McShane gets to sing in one episode again, just like he did in that one episode of Deadwood.- What are you listening to Part the Third
Which Rick Beato video? I love U.K./Bruford.- World War 3 Thread
I doubt I got a security ping, it's just a meme. It says, "The American government could take every billionaires' assets the same way they stole Venezuela's oil".- And now what did you do TODAY?
Apparently, "blurple" is a freak of nature that took the recessive genes from both parents. As nature is wont to do on occasion.- And now what did you do TODAY?
From memory: Yellows -- happiness Reds -- energy Blue -- cool, calm Purple -- Royalty Greens and Oranges -- psychoses ๐ Black -- self-harm, depression, death And now, testing my memory: I like how it felt obliged to raise its voice in defense of green and orange, but didn't defend black at all. Also: a more serious -- albeit Joan Rivers, fashionista -- take on colours for 2026: https://www.domino.com/design-inspiration/fixr-2026-color-trends/?utm_source=firefox-newtab-en-us - Happy Birthday Absorbine_Sr!
