  1. Because of the lighting?
  2. Damn, I miss your cooking. And I don't think I've ever had your cooking, but your pictures make me feel like I have.
  3. THIS! SO MUCH THIS! Happy birthday, dear Antonio!
  4. You know, all the attention was on the Utopia, Utopia Be, Mini Utopia, and Grand Utopias, but there was a nice little 3-way (tweeter/mid/woofer) which I don't remember that was only a couple of thou that I almost bought (back when I headily thought I could keep up with the Joneses, so to speak). Anyone know what I am talking about? It might have been the Alto Utopia.
  5. Charlie Cawood (Knifeworld, soon to be Kyros)'s two solo albums, Blurring into Motion and The Divine Abstract. I will probably do a Knifeworld discog run as well.
  6. https://www.businessinsider.in/tech/news/elon-musks-viral-chinese-doppelgnger-is-fighting-a-fake-mark-zuckerberg-to-give-us-all-the-best-ever-preview-of-how-the-musk-vs-zuck-cage-match-might-go/articleshow/101755154.cms I feel like that dog in that Far Side cartoon: OH please OH please OH please OH please OH please
  7. JG Thirlwell, Dystonia, as performed by Mivos Quartet
  8. Congrat^2! (wanders off to look up the word, 'covenanted')
  9. "...music from my heart to heart, not from fingers to ears..." What a beautiful sentiment! Hiromi is a treasure and must be cherished. And oh yeah, here's her music:
  10. Ich verstehe mehr zum ich wanke.
  11. Ended up being overnight, so...18 hours? I read somewhere that you don't want to marinate for more than 24, but I'm going to shoot for 12 next time, it was already starting to turn mooshy. And even with all that yogurt, the ghoulash still turned out ridonkeylously spicy.
  12. Marinating some chicken in yogurt as we speak (minimum 8 hours) -- not sure what for...oh, who am I kidding, I'm making my ghoulash again.
  13. Thanks! I've been listening to her a lot lately. Love her rendition of Pictures...
  14. Chelsea Wolfe, Abyss (no relation) Trying to decide on my vote for the best album of from 2010 January 1 to 2019 December 31, and Abyss came up as a choice, and I did listen to it quite obsessively when I discovered it. Listening to it now, it's definitely a contender. ExSample: List so far is: Matt Elliott, The Broken Man Max Richter, Sleep Kyros, Vox Humana Al1ce, The 13th Hour Big Big Train, English Electric David Bowie, Blackstar Hiromi, not even sure which one -- Voice, Move, Alive, Spark, Spectrum... Fiona Apple, The Idler Wheel... Nick Cave, The Skeleton Key or Push the Sky Away Oneohtrix Point Never, Replica, R Plus Seven, tricot, T H E, Slowdive, Slowdive Leonard Cohen, You Want It Darker Albums I need to look into: Daughters, Alvvays, The Caretaker, Destroyer, Clarence Clarity, Lamp (more), Beach House, And what the fuck is "slushiewave" -- music inspired by brainfreezes?
  15. I guffawed out loud, multiple times. "...and then you can bind the key binding to shorter key bindings..."
  16. That's a pretty girthy, gravity-defying, fuck-me-sideways snake, Grəm. (I happen to currently be wearing my "snakes on an inclined plane" shirt, no lie.)
  17. I know you like to pretend otherwise, Knucks, but you are a saint.
  18. Happy birthday! (party favour noise)
  19. Actually, the smell is already gone, and it tastes delicious.
  20. Happy birthday, wielder of bread knives and Mjölnir! (party favour noise)
