  1. I can't imagine putting packing tape on a watch to protect it. Seriously, buy a knock off to wear if you're that afraid you might scuff it.
  2. You already posted that in the appropriate thread. No need to spam, we get it, you like android.
  3. apple's a much bigger pocketbook than pono, so the potential payday is bigger.
  4. happy birthday queen b
  5. yah, holy crap that looks fantastic
  6. I'd say the NFL is pretty hated right now. They just have their demo locked in pretty tight.
  7. It sounds like what you should do is put the real watch in an acrylic collector's cube in a safe, and wear a different watch.
  8. I don't know that full suspension is really what you want if you're mostly going to be riding bike paths, but this looks like a decent buy: http://santabarbara.craigslist.org/bik/4710459767.html The lower end you go, the more it will weigh, and the less good the suspension will do you.
  9. I'm picking up a set of dura ace tubular wheels tonight. I doubt I'll have the glue and tires in time for this weekend, tho.
  10. Made some chicken soup for the church pot luck.
  11. turned our system back to the customer 3.5 days early (from a scheduled 4 day outage)
  12. grawk replied to Dusty Chalk's topic in Off Topic
I was considering it and I don't even like headphones
  13. you can always get tent poles to use with the tarp. Still not going to beat the weight.
  14. i posted a link to a tarp in the what did buy thread you might find interesting. All the camping gear I have is either 25 years old, designed for a big family, or both. For a cook stove, I'd look at MSR and Jetboil. I'd probably use an aeropress for coffee, and some hand coffee grinder...
  15. took my daughter to buy a dress and shoes for tonight's homecoming dance. Argh! I'm gonna miss my tomboy.
  16. http://www.dreamhost.com/r.cgi?1251264 or use promo code headcase It's $97 off 1 or 2 years service from them. I checked, and I don't profit when I give that big a discount
  17. I made a minor edit to the thread, I apologize for my derailing the discussion earlier
  18. right, same as the brake, left hand clutch.
  19. if you don't expect to do anything complicated, and don't expect a ton of traffic, dreamhost is a good place to start. Various referrals can get you your first year for $15. I could give you one if you don't have a favorite place to do that (I don't THINK I profit if I give the best price referral link, but I might, I've never done it). It includes domain registration, and wordpress (and lots of other options), and hosting.
  20. clutch between gears. 1st is down, then up to neutral, 2nd, 3rd..6th Shift at about 3500 rpm for normal performance, and just before the redline to go fast.
  21. there was chili paste in the stir fry, the sriracha was a garnish
