I honestly use a watch as jewelry, so I don't care about accuracy, and buy invictas, androids, and the like. Think of it as vw vs honda. Invicta is VW, and Seiko is Honda. I prefer VW and Invicta, because I know it's a cheap watch, so just want it to serve the purpose of amusing me. I see the value of honda tho, and so seiko is a fine choice. I recommend seiko 5s all the time. I think generally speaking the difference between a $50 watch and a $200 watch tho is going to either be style, or swiss bragging rights tho.

I'd assume any seiko is both reliable and accurate. Invictas aren't watches you buy for reliability, they're watches you buy because they're cheap good looking homages to well known watches

that's your george jeffferson watch!

Seiko makes a decent watch. If you like the way it looks, and the price is right, I'm not sure what input you'd need from others about getting it. It's like buying a honda.

those sure are seikos

Benevolent dictator is definitely the best form of government. Unfortunately, it rarely stays benevolent very long.

At this point, I find that preferable to giving money to the NHL owners...

gave my testimonial at my unitarian church twice (9 and 10:30 services), then watched my daughter's soccer team win the 2nd to last game of the season in what felt like arctic conditions (40 degrees and windy, so not really anything like the Alaska i lived in, but still cold).

I may have a spare stax cable, I'll look. I'm pretty well done with buying headphones, so I probably won't ever get 950s again, so I can part with it.

but it's not government mandated.

oh, that's easy, everyone knows santa hates liberals.

Took the kids to the Field of Screams haunted hayride and houses. It was a reward for working on a smaller haunted hayride. Was a good time, but now everyone's tired, and we all have to be up early tomorrow.
