  1. I've got a microtrack I could give you a deal on
  2. It's analog, sure. But it's also ntsc, so it only has 240 lines of resolution.
  3. I'd go with a direct attached drobo, so you're not increasing your network load.
  4. You don't need high res to rip laserdisc, that's 480i.
  5. It's not really a 1911, it's a composite framed wilson. So yah, pretuned
  6. You're looking for meaning in his posts. He's just a picture bot.
  7. Todd, I'll look through my stuff and see if I can find my domke bag. I'm not using it, so if I can find it I'll send it to you. It needs the padded pockets, but it's a nice little bag.
  8. I have a tamrac ginormous backpack I love
  9. The F6 is the one I'd get...or the J803, for one that will hold a laptop too.
  10. I like the domke bags, personally.
  11. Hey, that's pretty generous. Can you buy season tickets now? I thought there was a waiting list.
  12. If you pay for them
  13. Apparently the habs are on the market. Anyone have $350mil I can borrow?
  14. Does owning those speakers mean you no longer care about the music? That's a horrible listening position
  15. ah, ok, I thought you were talking about a "clone of a drobo" Like a softraid box.
  16. drobo clone?
  17. get a breakout box I hear they're the best
  18. It looks weird without the racing stripe Looks like you missed out on a great rig tho, with the tooleaudio balanced mosfet amp...
  19. Nice setup mr bread.
  20. The lavry has a custom usb receiver chip. A significant cost for the producer, much like custom drivers.
  21. It could be possible, but that would be illogical. 44/16 is standard for usb audio, and doing more requires custom drivers at the very least. Very few dacs are limited to 44/16 over spdif (coax or optical)
  22. I think it's theoretically possible to send 192 over optical. The trick would be finding 1) 192k source files, and 2) a transport that supports that.
  23. I don't think you get this place as well as you think you do.
  24. For me, the ESW10 is more impressive if you're in a quiet environment, listening for a while. Like most good headphones, there's subtlety there.
