  1. Well, yah, that was a self serving hope. If we meet you in the conference finals, then we get to play for the cup
  2. I'd rather it be the caps/habs for the conference finals.
  3. Caps just squeaked one out against Tom's Thrashers.
  4. $1934 on ebay too
  5. The original.
  6. Not understanding it isn't a reason to leave it out. The L3000s sounded really bad out of the phonitor, and much better out of the GSX singled ended when fed by the same source.

Those aren't the HD ones. The HD ones were the ones that were $60 I paid $50 each for 2 of the ultras before christmas.
  10. Well there ya go
  11. Might be cheaper to just buy a sata burner
  12. For bedroom you could pretty easily get away with one of the mini 5.1 systems, I'd think. Those are pretty doable for $500, leaving money for a bluray player. I'd check videogon for recommendations.
  13. That's what it seems like to me. I'd explore every avenue you have for getting your money back.
  14. happy birthday naaman
  15. Scroll down a bit zach, it's now a $1000 budget
  16. Ok, so let me get this straight: You paid $900 for a very old dac, and now you want to replace the dac part of it since it's bad. No chance you can just return it?
  17. In your budget, it doesn't matter, get whatever's cheap
  18. I should also say that at this point, I also wouldn't pay extra for bluray yet. I'd take the extra cost of the bluray player, and put it towards better speakers. The bluray players will only get cheaper, and better.
  19. You're probably better off going 2.1 for home theater for bang for the buck. Add surround as you can afford it, but you'll do better maximizing your money on the front 2 to begin with.
  20. Shrug, the atoms aren't for gaming. For most other things, they're decent.
  21. A decent cheap ht receiver that has what you need + Home Theater Direct middy and flat panel speakers and a sub.
  22. correct
  23. given that space is the last thing I look for in headphones, it's not surprising that I didn't find that out about the 701s...when I want space, I tend to listen to speakers.
