  1. My gifts from Al arrived. I hope to open the bottle tonight. Thanks buddy!
  2. Very cool Vicki, that was a steal!
  3. Walked the dogs in shorts, tee shirt and a pair of Keens. Sorry Nate. I will be jealous when you start to post skiing pics. I won't be going this year.
  4. Nice work Nate! Come rainy season, I will need a mud room after mountain biking.
  5. Just finished 4 lobsters at a friends house. Next stop B. B. King.

  12. I should add that I would like to be able to average 20+ mph on solo rides for at least 20 to 30 miles.
  13. Great thread. My goals before starting to mtb would have been 4,000 plus miles this year, which I agree would be doable. With mtb added to the mix, I'm going to put my road goal at 3,500 miles. It is possible that I will be able to get another 6 to 10 miles per week which would get me close to 4,000 but in all likelihood, if I could do 3,500 total for the year, I would be very happy. I would also like to do at least one full century. The closest I've come is 78 miles in NYC so I believe that is a reasonable goal.
  14. Not buying the frame. I am way to capable of a hard fall so carbon fiber makes me nervous, plus no money. So far no squeal.
  15. Jeff, that will be a sweet travel bike If I am unable to sell my Gunnar frame, I would consider S&S couplers for it and use as my travel bike. If I had the cash, I would order this: http://bigkahunabicycles.com/product/12niner-jet-9-rdo-frame-159189-1.htm
  16. Jeff, you should also check out: Steve Potts Kent Ericksen Strong K. Bedford Kish There are others but you should take a look if you haven't yet.
  17. Firefly makes beautiful frames. I don't know if the difference in cost is worth it other then the value in the name compared to a bunch of other builders out there making Ti bikes. I believe they used to be part of IF before Firefly.
  18. Happy Birthday Rick and Guillaume!
  19. Nice Vicki! The conditioning will come back fast enough. Gail and I went for a ride. My rear derailleur needs an adjustment. Whenever I stop pedaling, the chain running akin the top drops down. Almost into my wheel so I did 10 miles on the mountain bike on the road. I bought an Ion Pro Is for video using an Amazon gift card I forgot I had. I should have it by Thursday.
  20. Today was a no-fall Monday on the trail.
  21. On my way to the trial. Here's to a no-fall Monday.
