  1. Heh, I could swear there was an older one which also listed 'stats. At least it panned out, congrats on the acquisition. Might have to try this trick myself.
  2. Sweet deal. Is that WTB on NY craigslist for Orthos and Stats yours?
  3. Taxes. Federal was OK, but state hurt.
  4. Probably the easiest way would be to open the DAC up and replace the module. It should only be something like 3-5 connections, board mounted. I dont know what part Northstar uses, but it likely is fairly easy to find.
  5. Happy birthday Zach, hope you have a grand, enigmatic day.
  6. For those who may have done this before, what is the best glue to reattach a loose Lambda driver to the frame?
  7. Bunch of Mouser parts last night.
  8. Few hundred LL4148 SOD80C SMD diodes.

  10. The IRC PFC series is what I use when I want a SMD resistor a bit fancier than generic 1% thick films.
  11. Yes, some sort of cover would have taken it up a notch, but I couldnt think of anything I had around the house that would be suitable, and wasnt concerned enough to go out to the hardware store. Works fine and the heatshrink I used is fairly thick 3:1 adhesive lined, so I feel it is good enough. Finally means I have enough length to recable the ESP/950 with the OCF Alpha cable I have (which was once yours, actually).
  12. Yeah, Birgir rocks!
  13. ~60 year old safety razor, pretty sure it is a '48-'50 Gillette Super Speed, by visual identification.
  14. Oh yeah, those are thermistors for temp compensation. Didnt even see them. Definitely would benefit from some heatshrink. I think the white boxes are actually resistors, but cant tell for sure.
  15. Yeah, normally it is two resistors paralleled for greater power handling, but it looks like you just got single larger resistors. I tend to use 91% or 99% isopropyl alcohol on cotton balls for cleaning off flux, but I also tend to bubble the ends, so the cotton doesnt catch. A toothbrush may work better for you. Acetone works great too, but you have to be a bit careful.
  16. What capacitors? R6 and R7?
  17. Got a Stax SRE-725 with the plug end cut off, so added a WPI jack.
  18. Dark Tranquillity - Fiction
  19. I havnt had any problems with my WRT54G-TM, but I am also running the DD-WRT firmware on it. Also have too slow an internet connection to notice any limitations there, and dont use the network for any other purposes, such as LAN gaming.
  20. This may be a more involved modification than you are looking for, but you could just look into changing out the I/V resistor used in the MiniDAC. Pretty sure this uses the AD1955, and has a pretty standard opamp I/V, so should be fairly easy to find this resistor and simply replace it. True, you would be making a fairly large change, so should also change some of the LPF components, but nothing too radical. Beta22 isnt stable below a gain of 2, right? Off topic, but those Donuts doin OK for you?
