The ESP/10 has 2kV bias? Thought just the Jecklin was that high, and it doesnt have tiny transformers in the earcups.

Hmm, floats that good? May need to try and make it over at some point. Ideally after I get tires, but before the NADs are gone, though that seems extremely unlikely. You realize you can just rip the transformers out of the cups and wire it for use with your Stax energizers, right?

Thanks a bunch everyone. The birthday went pretty well, though I still feel a bit queezy from all of the cake and cookies, and I didnt even get into the cake at home yet. Still about a pound of deep dish apple pie in the fridge at work, and I finished the last of the Berger's cookies this morning. No real celebration, and I even stayed late (9pm) at work, but decent day. Wasnt able to drink anything last night though, since I had my interview early this morning and I didnt want to take any chances.

That the impedance is very nonlinear with regard to frequency. I would imagine this headphone's sound to be rather dependent on the amp, so an OTL tube would sound extremely different than high NFB SS.

Definitely avoid satellite if at all possible. I have it (Wildblue), and it is slow, laggy, and not very reliable. Too bad it is the best I can get here.

Wow, my Floats fit me just fine. How did you manage to wear your T50v1?

Turns out that a slight bend in the hanger on each side makes these fit me, though still at max adjustment. It allows more of the earcup hanger to be vertical, increasing the overall length just enough to work. Still havnt listened, because the boss still hasnt gone for lunch.
