Sorry for the troubles with the Speedy, it's a nice watch. FWIW I also had understood that the speck had moved away on its own, but given I'm not very smart and that English isn't my mother language, it's almost a miracle I understand half of what you write.

I'm on OSX using Chrome and several blocking extensions, yet the boxes showed on the first visit. I guess those blocking codes work differently

I guess that guy can match the tubes as anyone else if he has the tester. The Tube Depot has the matching service, you just need to check the box above the add to cart button, but you're right there's no third party reference about their matching quality. I've got tubes from them previously and work great, but I don't have the equipment to check them

The website of the Philharmonie de Paris offers plenty of concerts to watch or listen online, some as live events which are later kept in their archives. There's not only classical music or performances by the Orchestre de Paris, but some jazz and pop. They've scheduled for March a show by David Bowie.

Yup, the HD250 Linear (not to be mistaken with the Linear II) is a good closed headphone. In the HD600 type of balanced sound. Very light and comfortable. Hard to drive though. I hate the K550 too. Sounds like plastic.
