    Canjam 2010.

You can be my guest if you need an active HF username to register. I haven't done it yet, but will do so soon. WEAK. EXCUSE.
  2. Christian McBride -- Live at Tonic Fucking amazing record(s). Get it if you don't got it.
  3. Alex Chilton -- Set
  4. I knew that using the words bone and mouth in the same sentence would inspire the Tice.
  5. First the knees then the mouths. Weird. The Macallan is treating me right. Last dram of the 18 is soothing my frayed nerve.
  6. That post seems like a bad choice.
  7. I just left my dentist's office at 9:10pm I didn't eat my tongue but I seem to have impaled a fish bone from lunch into my gums below the tooth line. It was like a sliver that felt like it was touching a nerve. My dentist was a friend of my wife's father and he agreed to come into the office tonight because I am flying at 7am tomorrow. After setting up and peering into my mouth, he pulled a shard of bone right out. Weird but I'm glad to have it out. Whisky will be required to sanitize the wound.
  8. Me too!
  9. That ad is rough, but the seller is gold. He is a good guy who buys and sells top gear and maintains it in pristine condition. I bought something from him years ago and talked to him recently when he had a Doshi/ATC setup similar to what I now have.
  10. Radar Brothers -- The Illustrated [Cap] Garden
  11. I liked the first one better in comparison, but both seem to have the same throw-back pop style. Entertaining but not particularly compelling as music.
  12. She & Him -- Vol. 2
  13. The customs will cause far less to no irritation at all. Foamie tips are irritating but these things are like having nothing in your ears.
  14. Mmmmmmm, jitter elimination.
  15. Wilco plus a jazz show on a monday night? What a wild man!
  16. No sensitivity.
  17. D'oh! The Mill Nazi strikes again!
  18. The demos almost look like customs from the back and have the same cable entry, but the business end is more of a tube like on the Shures, as Mike mentioned. I have pasted some pics of a meet where we had the demo kit and you can see some victims trying them out. The trick of getting them in right is to push the foamie all the way onto the stem and then squish it back so that you can see the end of the stem again. Put it in your ear and let the foamie expand. If you leave the foamie down on the end of the stem like with normal universal IEMs, you will not get a true sense of the sound. The foamie needs to be back from the tip. Enjoy. I ended up buying them, as did Grahame and some others, after that meet pictured below.
  19. Less time to "mill" around?
  20. So, did you listen all night as anticipated, KG? How does the sound compare to the Stax T2 or to the BH/BHSE? Pedestrian questions, but I am curious and now wish I had bought Birgir's T2 so I could have heard it before flipping it. Hmm, dual mono power supplies does sound cool...
  21. I meant the part about appreciating the education, Knuckles. I also liked the clip.
  22. I appreciate the education, although I do know what Left Coast and Breaks mean. I might be old but I ain't ignant.

    slow forum

Indeed, they're bending over backwards for our entertainment. Freakish, really.
  24. Is that damning with faint praise or does that category just seem more expansive to you than most of the world?
  25. Dungen -- Ta Det Lugnt
