  1. While they run screaming in the other direction.
  2. Can you even imagine him walking around in headphones at a high school? The Perv Squad would take him out immediately.
  3. Sweet! I think we have at least one other member of the Danny Boys! Maybe you should come out to San Francisco next week for John Zorn's residency at Yoshi's. 4. I get really weird looks and comments when I hang around campus in my Grados, but I'm 45 and don't go to or work at a school.
  5. Come on, admit it, you know you want to be a Danny Boy!
  6. John Schott -- In These Great Times
  7. Alright, so you are only turning 33 but what the hell, you'll always be money to me. Have a good one Nate! Cheers!
  8. U2 -- No Line on the Horizon Available early on Rhapsody so I figured I might as well suck it up and listen. The review I read yesterday was so awful that my expectations are dismal.

No shit. 12 posts and a couple of threads started all about TV. Why are you here?
  10. Annie Lennox -- The Annie Lennox Collection
  11. I think there have been 6 episodes this season. Even better than last year.
  12. Flight of the Conchords, duh. It has been killer this season. A couple of the better songs this year. Too Many Dicks on the Dancefloor and Sugarlumps. The rest of the show is even better but these had me falling out of my chair. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-EN8dpAvBw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtbQaJzZh1k
  13. ^^funny Monkey. Did JP get stranded at the airport because of the crazy weather or something? I hope you locked up the P-1 while you are gone!
  14. It was a long shot but those were damn good wings!
  15. Very nice, and much better with the cover over the little tranny.
  16. I'm not against service and I agree it can be a good career step -- probably better than most PDs. BUT, there are a couple of quagmires where too many service people are dying for me to think joining the military is a healthy move. I'm not trying to debate the issue, but I did want to explain myself.
  17. That is a drag, Colin, but I definitely hope you keep up the PD job search longer. I hate to sound unpatriotic, and in no way wish to denigrate those who serve, but I would hate to see you join the military as a fallback at this particular point in history. Hang in there and something will work out soon. Curious what Mexican restaurant it was. When my wife was in grad school at Cornell we went to a Mexican place that had the greatest Buffalo wings, oddly enough. Might have been Mexicali Rose or something, but she is not here to remember for me.
  18. Andrew Hill -- Point of Departure Calexico -- Feast of Wire
  19. So far this morning: John Lennon -- Imagine McCoy Tyner -- Afro Blue
  20. KAB Speed Strobe. Wow is this thing great! So easy to use and so damn definitive on the speed. Slight changes on the speed controller were immediately noticeable and when the speed locks in, it is perfect.
  21. x3, but i really would get annoyed if he continued making HC his Twitter pages: Went to the loo. Had some steak and kidney pie. Did more things people do in the UK. Talked about myself doing things people do in the UK. Hello, friend. Do you like pickles? I like pickles. Ad nauseum.
  22. Can't you get someone to replace you for one weekend at your "escort" service job.
  23. Nice job on the review, Chris. I forgot how much I dislike doing them when I did the TTVJ FET-A review the other night. Anyway, as I mentioned on HF, I think a Phonitor / DA11 comparison might be very interesting. If I am understanding, then they do some similar things, but in very different ways. I have no idea if anybody attending CanJam has a Phonitor, but maybe you could capitalize on your contact with SPL and request that a unit be made available for CanJam. It could be shipped to JP or somebody involved in running the thing, or you could just get another unit in May and bring it with you! Cheers.
