January 25, 201610 yr Author Thanks to all who have paid. Unfortunately I don't have a record of the paypal <-> Head-Case-ID of each and thus have no way of keeping track of who has paid. Which is why I asked for: " Please transfer the amount stated in the spreadsheet to [email protected], putting "Group Buy DA, Head-Case ID" into the notes field. Those participated in Caps or Circlotron GB I can figure out, but others I cannot unfortunately. Sorry for the inconvinience. So people who have paid and not participated in Caps nor Circlotron GB please send me a mail with your Head-Case ID and shipping adress while we're at it ? /S Edited May 1, 20197 yr by sorenb
January 25, 201610 yr Looked like there was still room on the spreadsheet, payment sent, ID included in payment. Thanks for putting it together.
January 26, 201610 yr Author This is the relay needed for the Digital Attenuator I have added the part to the spreadsheet here. The price ea is USD4.39/ea, If more than 500 the price is < 3USD/ea. The quantum price is contained in the sheet and thus the price (in the E8) will show actual price according to the total amount. Please add the amount you want. Thanks. /S
January 26, 201610 yr partial schematic suitable for checking http://gilmore.chem.northwestern.edu/attenuatorv2.pdf board pictures http://gilmore.chem.northwestern.edu/attenuatorsmtv42flipground7.pdf
January 26, 201610 yr the attenuator resistors are not actually 10k, they depend on attenuation per switch and total impedance. Edited January 26, 201610 yr by kevin gilmore
January 26, 201610 yr Hey Soren, just sent you an email confirming Head-case ID, Paypal email address and shipping address. Just in case it ends up in your junk, yes I'm Jodi

January 27, 201610 yr Adjusted SS for to 4 boards and 48 relays Payment sent, mostly Thank you for your effort in this GB
January 28, 201610 yr You might also look at the NEC / TOKIN / (Kemet? lost track) EA2/EB2 series relays.
January 28, 201610 yr Yeah. Those particular relays are just an example of what can work. Same foot print with 4.5V and low current (19x ohms for the Omron) would be fine.
March 4, 201610 yr Author Did a brief check at Mouser in rgrds to MAX's+resistors+capacitors ~ 70USD ...if buying in quantity > 25 sets ...it drops to some 35USD, if there's interest a Group Buy for the this can be done ... Relays are due monday next week, and shipping of Dig.Att+relays will start hereafter unless people want combined ship with Über and/or Dig.Att.Kit Sheet Edited March 4, 201610 yr by sorenb
March 5, 201610 yr What is in the Dig. Att. Kits? The boards I have are the first version, so don't use the MAX chips, but I could be interested in the resistors, etc.
