October 16, 20196 yr comment_811989 Here’s the back of the digital attenuator. This might make you suffer more Those chips need to be started with a hot air station. Report

October 18, 20196 yr Author comment_812126 We have another hitch and delay. I ordered the updated GRLV boards in September and they were sent out to me around Sep 18. The tracking info shows that the package cleared US customs on Sep. 30 and was en route to me via US post network. I have not received it yet and local post office confirmed that they do not have it either. I got in contact with the manufacture and they asked me to wait for a few more days before they can open an investigation. I am going to give it another week and if the package is till absent the manufacture will provide a coupon at that time for me to reorder the boards. Apologize for the further delay. Will provide another update in a week or so. Table updated. Report

October 21, 20196 yr comment_812265 Yes, R13 sets the current for the reference. I use 4.7K and it was giving me .92mA. Here's a shot of the positive rail... (Wow - It's been sitting out for a couple of weeks and got very dusty) Edited October 21, 20196 yr by Kerry Report
October 21, 20196 yr comment_812266 Thanks for info. I think I’m abandoning the idea of building an ordinary (through hole components) PSU now. Excellent achievements, Kerry. Report

The Fab house was kind enough to provide a refund coupon for me to reorder the PCB which I did. I used a different, higher-cost shipping option this time. With better luck this time I should receive the PCB in about 2 - 3 weeks. Edited October 23, 20196 yr by mwl168 Report
December 14, 20196 yr comment_814212 Some good news on my side. I was able to successfully test the GR79xx board. Here's a picture of the GR7915 (left) next to the GR7815 micro (right). I've only tested against my DC shop supply but it performs as expected so far Report
