  • Look what I just found at my door step...

  • I am moving Kerry's mini GRHV\GRLV GB discussion to its dedicated thread here. I also included JoaMat's mini T2 here to see if we have enough interest for a GB. The table will be updated periodic

Please increase my order of both GRLV78 and GRLV79 to 5. Also please add 2 bare GRHVs because they're cheap and why not.

I would like one bare set please. Thank you!

Please increase my grlv78/79 to 6 each instead of 3 each. Thanks!!!

Please read the thread and be specific about which boards you want and how many.

GR78 and GR79 BOM added to first post.

mwl168, I had a look at the bom for the gr78xx and tried to build a mouser project from it. However mouser says the kst42mtf is obsolete and out of stock. Also C3 C7 in the bom is the same as c1 and c2 but is on a seperate line... the gr79xx also uses the obsolete kst42mtf. the gr79xx also has two entries for the same cap, c1,c4 and the line c7.

Ok looks like farnell still has some stock remaining....

C1, C2 and C3 are different values.

A quick look seems CMPTA42 could be a pin/package compatible part for KST42Same goes for the PNP part.

Kerry and others should be able to confirm.

Apologies for not being accurate. 😅

I'd like the following: (enough for one Mini T2)

  • 2x GRHVxxx (bare)
  • 1x GRLV79xx
  • 1x GRLV78xx
  • 1x Main Board
  • 1x miniT2

2x mini T2 board

2x PSU main board

2x GRLV78

2x GRLV79

4x GRHVxxx (bare PCB)

2x GRHVxxx (partially assembled)

Please update my order.

4x GRHVxxx (assembled)

6x GRLV78xx

6x GRLV79xx

2x main board

1x mini t2 board

Thanks

Sam

I think I've used MMBTA42/92 in the past successfully, though your suggestion Michael looks like it should work as well.

Kerry, the GRLV78/79xx can be usable in your dynalo mini ?

We have a few new comers to HC (<= 10 posts) that participated in this GB and have not responded to my inquiries, including direct PM, for confirmation. We need final board counts to get accurate quotes from the fab house for this GB to proceed.

The GB participants listed below please respond on this thread with your confirmation or desire to drop out by end of day this coming Sunday, March 22. If we do not receive your response , I will assume you are no longer interested and will remove you from the GB. Thanks!

Do you want the GRHVxxx partially assembled or bare boards?

I assume you know the PSU Main board is designed specifically to work with the GRHVxxx boards? Each main board takes 2 GRHVxxx boards to supply a set of  +/- HV rails.

It's good for newbie to have the advice. I'd take the bare boards, then

6x GRHVxxx
3x GRLV79xx
3x GRLV78xx
3x Main Board
3x miniT2

Thanks!
