High On Fire - Brothers in the Wind is excellent. Hope you get to see it live (and enjoy it).

a box of 50 old jazz albums. I'll be picking the ones I like, and putting the rest up for sale soon.

Just save us all some time and send them to Luis :D

I've been researching LCDs, but I finally just said forget it. I miss the advantages of a good CRT. I currently have 2 Ikea Jerker tables mashed together in my room, so at least the weight wont be an issue.

Computer upgrade time:

Asus P5Q-E Mobo

Intel E8400 Cpu

G.Skill PC-8500 4Gb kit Ram

Sapphire HD4850 Video

2x Seagate 500Gb 7200.11 Storage Raid0

But good LCDs are WAY more expensive than good monitors, even still.

That was my motivation to go with the CRT. The one thing I do like about modern LCDs is the wide aspect ratio. Most CRTs dont have that, but luckily there were some widescreen models made before they switched to LCD technology, including the Sony I bought. Plus apparently it has a relatively flat screen to boot.
