Just finished watching the first season of Transparent. It was great! I would definitely recommend sticking with it Al (although the kids do stay pretty selfish throughout).

12 Monkeys (tv)... good intro so far. 

Anyone have WeTV (not to be confused with MeTV) and catch Sex Box last night? Looks/sounds ridiculous.

I'm only on episode 6, but I'm loving this season -- it's the best character growth I've seen in any show since Deadwood.  Just amazing.

 

Also watching Blacklist -- Spader has some of the best charisma I've seen in a morally ambiguous character.  And yes, I mean I like him even more than Frank Underwood.

 

I just got to the episode with the music box.

They misspelled my sister's name! :\

That sucks. It's happened to me also.

Just finished binge watching House Of Cards S3

12 Monkeys on SYFY is really good. From production values to their treatment of time travel is really very good. Highly recommended.

Finally finished S3 as well.  Best season yet.  Seems they took character development to a whole new level -- relationship development.

 

Also S1 of The Blacklist several days ago.

 

Only one episode left of Black Mirror S2.

Finished Black Mirror S2 -- that was depressingly too close to the truth.  I think the best thing about this show is the social commentary by way of personal stories.

Wow, I was pretty amazed about the plagiarism accusation. The two pieces did look pretty similar though. Of course, it is not like anyone else made something that had never been made before really (although the fan/bookcase was pretty original). It is perfectly possible that Tim saw the piece once and forgot about it and really did think he made it up. I know a very well known mathematician that was told an idea by someone else and later really thought it was his own idea. The memory is a very funny thing. Anyway, I absolutely can't stand Katie (and didn't really like any of her designs) and thought Tim and his designs were great so I am sad this happened.

Was better the second time for what it's worth.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is back.

 

And did I mention the second season of Broadchurch has started?  Also, look, it's that chick from Torchwood Eve Myles.
