Vicodin...you see there is a silver lining in every cloud. ;)

Good luck!

Mmmm, Vicodin.

Fuckin' A, Reks, that sucks ass. Hit and run victim. Leaky roof victim. Burrito store ripoff victim. Etc. Etc. Etc. Maybe you have to get back together with the Succubus Girlfriend because it seems that the timing of that breakup is a little suspect...

Oh, and don't fuck around with drinking and Vicodin, either. We don't want you pulling a Heath by accident.

damn thats sucks dude. But from now on, I will never get in a car with reks :P

If it weren't for bad luck....

Get better Jacob. And to the asshole that hit you - Fuck off and die. :stick:

I hope they find the asshole that hit you and left the scene. Anyone can have an accident, but leaving the scene with someone injured is unforgivable.

shock affects the driver as well as the victim, that said sticking around to really help the person knocked down is certainly the right step to take.

When I was knocked down it was 30 minutes before shock faded and much longer before I realised I needed profesional help. Cars are potentially deadly, more people should realise that and not drive when distracted.

Best wishes Reks, I hope you heal with minimal pain, take it easy

:)

Damn Reks, this is all too much bullshit for just one guy. Hang in there.

I ever get a visit from a deity, I'll be sure to give him/her/it an earful on your behalf!

Yeeouch. :kitty:

I think a small fracture like that will heal okay, but you might put your por hockey career on the back burner for it. Also, no visiting senile old aunties who like to pinch your cheek.

...

Damn postjack with the quickness.

...i was told that since my cheekbone is just a little fractured (you can't tell in the picture, but one side of my face is hugely swollen)...
Yes, you can.

And I ain't no doctor, but no, that don't sound right. I'd get a second opinion.

As to the second opinion, careful, you'd look pretty silly with a cast and your face in a sling :D

So, how big an impact crater did you leave in the road? Also, did the bike survive the encounter? :o

Reks, sorry to hear about the mishap. I hope you heal real soon. Hint, nurses make great girlfriends, think spongebaths....... ;) ;)

oh, doctors, i was told that since my cheekbone is just a little fractured (you can't tell in the picture, but one side of my face is hugely swollen), it would heal on its own without any help. does that sound right?

I got a tripod fracture of my cheek from a biking accident when I was 15. Healed up on it's own. Got nice dark red blood in the bottom of my eye for a bit.

Seriously dude... what the hell did you do to piss the gods off so much?

Agreed, the less of that face I see the better. ;D

I have to look at that picture again to satisfy my curiosity. I completely missed what her face looked like.

Damn it, your luck really sucks.

All the best and enjoy the vicodin.

All the best and enjoy the vicodin.

And just a quick tip - 1 vicodin + 1 shot Nyquil = very slow wonderful evening.

Not that I've ever tried it....

the vicodin by itself has been ok, i'll have to get some nyquil. :)

i'm glad i have the drugs, i'd be in pretty bad shape, otherwise. still hurts even with it.

Where's my keyboard, bitch? :)

Send a dude cuban cigars, and he makes up hit and runs to avoid sending a keyboard.

Seriously, feel better, no rush on the keyboard, I have several. :)
