The "#$!* I forgot to Order It" Thread

Featured Replies

Man, I forgot to add 4 1000uF/50V Panasonic FM capacitors (P12393-ND) to my last Digikey order... anyone happen to have some on hand, or about to place an order and wouldn't mind shoving 4 parts into an envelope and sending them my way?

Are those the little Blue thingies that go on the Green thingy?

Nope I don't think I have any, sorry. :P

Marc,

Sorry, just placed an order around noon today. Did you just order? Digikey will add stuff on if you catch it soon enough.

Chris

this is why I love mousers project list function. Just log in and click to order a whole project. Do you have to have the panasonics? Mouser doesn't have a minimum order penalty. You could get some nichicons.

Hooray for babyshit brown components!

And you're right about the Mouser project function. I'm just a noob at DIY, but it really is the best thing evar!!!!!1111!!!

This is why I'm happy there's a bunch of electronics surplus & parts supply stores in my area. There've been so many times when I've forgotten a resistor or a jack or some other stupidass part, and then had to make a run to the store so that I could get my project started.

By a crazy twist of fate I have 4 of these caps (no idea when I ordered them) so PM me your addy and I'll mail them tomorrow.

Bah, I've got a fair number of random parts kicking around. Those caps are my default filter caps for lower voltage STEPS (power supply) so it's not all that shocking that I had them.
Oh, okay, it just sounded like -- hmmm...after taking an inventory, everything else except for THESE 4 CAPS is accounted for. I guess I'll go post a IC and see if anyone...oh, hey, look what we have here...

You wouldn't be at all surprised if you saw the boxes and boxes (and boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes...) of parts Nate has in his basement. It's shocking! :o

*shuffles feet* It's not that bad...

What I want to know is how many more amps can you build (not including casing them) without ordering additional parts?

LOL, right there with ya man. And yeah, it's probably that bad ;)

Hmmm, of the top of my head at least 4, maybe 5... That's ignoring projects that have already been started and not finished...

Okay, so he's like KG junior, then? Except without the uranium and without the same amount of unobtainium?

just curious, has anyone ever run across some pre-assembled Molex KK-compatible cables? It would be quite handy to have a few of those around :)

I have IRF510's. IRF9510's I can check on Friday after work from my local supplier.
