June 5, 200917 yr I had a chance to see these before Nate brought them west and they looked and sounded great. It was the best I've ever heard 225s sound, which have never really impressed me before. Glad you're enjoying them!
June 5, 200917 yr Looks good. However, if I were to have custom cups made, I'd ask for the grills to be closer to the top and remove the button or replace it with a metal/wooden one
June 5, 200917 yr While you're at it (ditching the buttons) make a wooden grill as well. As for the headband, heat-steam mold a single piece to match the measurements of Vicki's head for ultimate comfort. Also, make a custom cable for the headphones out of shielded cable encased in multiple wooden segments to allow for flexibility. As a bonus, make the cables detachable so that they can double as a jump rope too when not listening to music.
June 5, 200917 yr you should release your own HC-1 or NM-1 Oh hell to the no! I'd say it takes 8 to 10hrs to turn and finish a set of cups like these. No one wants to pay for that much labor and it'd ruin the fun.
