I had a chance to see these before Nate brought them west and they looked and sounded great. It was the best I've ever heard 225s sound, which have never really impressed me before. Glad you're enjoying them!

Looks good. However, if I were to have custom cups made, I'd ask for the grills to be closer to the top and remove the button or replace it with a metal/wooden one ;)

Very nice! :)

[i think you should ditch the buttons though]

While you're at it (ditching the buttons) make a wooden grill as well. As for the headband, heat-steam mold a single piece to match the measurements of Vicki's head for ultimate comfort. Also, make a custom cable for the headphones out of shielded cable encased in multiple wooden segments to allow for flexibility. As a bonus, make the cables detachable so that they can double as a jump rope too when not listening to music.

Simply beautiful...easy on the eyes and fine craftsmanship too.

Should you ever do a pair in quilted maple, we may have to have a talk :)

Nate, if you ever do a pair in quilted maple for Jay, please give me a buzz as I'd love a set in the same wood too.

That's some awesome woodwork there. Love the smooov shine on the cups. Really beautiful. :)

I doub't he'll ever start taking orders like this. I'm just giving him a hard time :)

Yeah, I figured as much, just wanted to put it out there, ya know, just in case Nate suddenly found that he had waaaaaaay too much free time on his hands and felt like making some wood cups. ;D

Please don't hit me with the :basement: Nate...

Hey, Nate could give headphile a run for its money. I mean literally run...

OK, not funny, sorry, but its 3 am here, me need sleep. :asshat:

What's wrong with the good old skull of an enemy? Some islander you are.

I'll rest my glass on my skull. Don't worry.

Absolute beauties Nate, and congrats Boo.

Those are extremely well made and finished and I'm jealous of them. Makes me wish I liked Grados ;)

Nate, could you add a little bit of info on these in the wood finishing thread?

:)
