September 19, 200916 yr comment_277901 Well, Cal finally broke out of their usual road slumps by getting the win over Minnesota. For a while in the 4th quarter, I thought, "here we go again" with the choking on the road, but they pulled out the win. And Jahvid Best is a speed freak: once he's outside, you can't catch him. Nobody believed me when I said that Huskies have a legitimate chance of upsetting USC, and they did. On the one hand, as a Bears fan, I'm glad somebody beat USC. But on the other hand, this loss does put more pressure on Cal to beat SC two weeks from now, and this win by the Huskies does nothing to lessen the media's prejudice against the Pac 10. Report
