December 13, 201015 yr At the airport and sad to be leaving. I tried Shelly's LCD2 with the Pico and GS-1 again and thought the combo was pretty good. Quieter room, different music (more mids/vocals) and a newer Macbook Pro but I really did think it sounded better. Must have been the newer MBP. Just got home. Sorry to hear about the flight Scott. It was great to see everyone. It was really a great weekend. Gene did a great job setting everything up. I wish I could still be there. I was lucky enough to have Vicki's BHSE and O2's in my room. I just love that setup. Tried to steal it but I couldn't fit it in my carryon. Gene + Mike's "budget" setup (Schiit + Emotiva DAC + 650) sounded really nice. I liked the LCD-2 with the BA a lot more than the HD800's with the BA. In fact, I didn't really like the HD800 with the BA so much. December 13, 201015 yr I arrived about 10am on Saturday and left around 1:30pm. I almost did not make it but felt it would be wrong if at least I did not show up.

December 13, 201015 yr Didn't get home until after 1 AM last night because of a 2+ hour flight delay, was most annoying especially since the plane was just sitting on the ground for most of that time and we were stuck inside it. As for TamJam/Geneapalozza, it was crazy & awesome! Thanks Gene for putting this shindig together, I had a great time. Copious amounts of liquor was consumed, which totally wiped me out at one point, which was awesome. Who cares about gear, TamJam was all about the liquor, and the crazy gang that showed up (but there was also some very fine gear in attendance too, like a Balancing Act and 2 dueling BHSEs). Was great to see everyone once again and I can't wait for the next time. One of these days I really should drink less - er, well, maybe. The only thing I regret from the weekend is not going to Mons Venus. Ah well, I'll have to do that some other time. I want to see the "flawless girl" that Dom described, squeaky voice and all.
