Theunnamed
I was wondering what some headphone brands were that have vintage looking headphones. The ones I have on my list right now are Grado and Alessandro. Any help would be nice. That's really my only preference atm. Thx guys. Voltron
I like these old school wireless cans: I think those are Ulrasones, for the OP's benefit.
ujamerstand
No no, they are clearly iems.
mypasswordis
These IEMs are behind the ear and wireless, for ergonomics.
Pars
I think those are Ulrasones, for the OP's benefit. No no, they are clearly iems. They may be IEMs, but the important take away from this is that they SOUND like Ultrasones...
Tyll Hertsens
IEMs? Really? This must be one of them multi-driver jobs.

Voltron
Whoa whoa whoa, stop the clock. You just gave some actual advice to Theunbrained. What were you thinking?!
Knuckledragger
Tyll spent years on head-fi, acting as the representative of one of the largest online headphone and amp retailers. Giving sound advice to blithering cretins is his specialty.

rhythmdevils
Blessing, are those pictures you posted (or at least the one with the army looking dudes) early radar type devices? Are they listening for airplanes? Pretty amazing. Those kinds of inventions are so much cooler than the new iphone4s with dual hemoraging flumoxes. The Pickering ad was cool too, it's interesting seeing old advertising it's so simple and straightforward.
HeadphoneAddict
Pickering! Forgot about them. Here's a classic that's still available: Koss Pro 4AA Those are a big part of why I have chronic tinnitus now - as a stupid teenager in the 70's I played them loud enough to make my ears almost bleed (and the other part was the loud concerts - Kiss, Peter Frampton, Heart). I loved them at the time out of my Marantz 2240, but I wonder if I'd still like them today.
spritzer
It's a bit shocking that they are still using that awful ESP9 headband...
