Feliks Audio Bliss - so much stupidity...

can't find any internal pictures. but a 6ca7 as a current source for a 300b has plenty voltage swing, more than 1600 volts is possible. but the front end is lacking in voltage gain. so you are definitely going to need one of those 10v output dacs. - Today

I saw a picture where someone turned 'Bliss' potentiometer to the 3-4 o'clock...just another 320Vrms swing with low gain luxury electrostatic amp Perhaps it is thought that the maximum sound pressure can be compensated a bit by increasing the bias voltage. Electrostatic force on the diaphragm is affected by both the bias and the signal. -
A day late, but I moved. No longer in MAGA Warren county. Much relief, shoulder and neck tension down, anxiety down, blood pressure down, much relief...

I got the Brown album on CD a few years ago... I don't know if I would pay extra for it. I'll have to give it another listen!

Holy schnickes. Orbital announces half-speed remastered 4CD/4LP Brown album. Orbital 2 AKA "The Brown Album" is the single greatest electronic music album. I say this with zero hesitation. ~$152. Dunno about shipping. This release is a compelling argument to but an expensive phono preamp.

Zim Ngqawana - Zimphonic Suites It's in Qobuz and other sites New to me artist who came recommended at another website. Kind of fun jazz, pretty straight ahead with African influence.

Search For The New Land by Lee Morgan (1966) https://album.link/qkcjcfrch3whp Example: Opening with this 16 minute monster, Lee had something to say in '66. With Wayne, Herbie and the boys, just a stellar set. {RVG of course}

I'm sensing a pattern here.

50yo Nils Lofgren by Nils Lofgren Band (1975) https://album.link/tfvx4chsvnb0g Example: Some good playing, the songs are okay to me.

What an intro....not bad overall, I can't say i LOVED it but I DO love that they named the band that way..... 😊 From me: brand new Chameleons material. I like it musically, and the lead singer (who now goes by Chameleons Vox) has been pretty vocal in his distaste for the current president/administration. Pretty spot-on lyrics....

I don't really remember the details of the show, but I took a girl to see her favorite band REO Speedwagon in late 1979 even though I wouldn't have been caught dead there otherwise. I do recall it was a good show, and I also recall I didn't get even a proper kiss for my efforts.

Supertramp, Live in Paris '79 -- great gig, all their top songs, zero filler, very great. I was reminded how the second half of "Child of Vision" is just one long -- stonkin' -- piano solo, very much like The The's "Uncertain Smile". Compare:
