This year my wife, Karen, will be running the Chicago marathon as a St. Jude hero again. As the flagship of the Children's Hospital Network, St. Jude is a special charity. Unlike last year however, Karen made a deal with her Facebook friends that if they met a certain monetary goal, she would run the race in a Wonder Woman costume (I was actually pushing for a bikini clad Princess Leia, since I am a man of that age). Marc is 76 years old today, but doesn't look a day over 45. That could have something to do with his head always shrouded in pipe smoke. I've been inches away, but never had a clear view. Or possibly it's his career that keeps him looking younger. He's a towel boy at a posh country club, and the constant steam must be the answer ( I realize that some of you think he's involved with software, but that's just his cover story ).
